It's about time that they acknowledge that most people are born Gay. I knew I was "Different" when I was 6, even though I didn't know what the word homosexual meant. Had it been a choice for me, I would have chosen to be Hetero, as it would have avoided a lot of pain, anguish, guilt, ostracism, and all of the other problems that Gay people many times face.

by Monsieur ini remember reading somewhere in regards to a a 'prophet' of sorts who had predicted all the popes that have been chosen.. his 'prophecy' stated that the next pope (since benedict has resigned) would be the last before the 'end' would come.

Hello Prefect! Yes, it is odd that the Vatican would get hit by lightning just a few hours after the Pope announced his resignation. The odds of that particular building being hit at such a time is probably like the odds of winning the lottery. Yes, buildings get hit by lightning all of the time, but this was quite an interesting "coincidence" due to the timing.

Every time I see one of our veterans or hear of someone who has served in the military, I go up to them and extend my hand and thank them for helping to protect me and fighting for our freedoms. There have been a few times when doing so has started a chain reaction in a store, where others have overheard and joined in to thank the person.
Many of our service people have quite literally been through hell and back, and politics aside, I just couldn't let the opportunity to thank them pass by without expressing my gratitude.
I likewise have expressed the same gratitude to Firefighters.

Hello William! I am sorry to hear about your Father. In regards to his ashes, I would do what I felt about them, and not let anyone else dicate something that is so important to you. I do know that some super uber dubs frown on keeping the ashes, as they consider it to be a form of Idolatry to keep the ashes and memorialize them. I personally am keeping the ashes of a dear loved one in a beautiful tortoise finished box, with a nice commemorative brass plaque, and I either touch or give a soft kiss almost every day, saying how much I miss her. I find nothing wrong with this, and it is very therapeutic for me, and had I just dumped the ashes, I would have been upset that I don't still have a part of her around me.
If you want to keep the ashes of your Father, keep them. Do not let anyone dictate to you how you shoud feel. Please. You will feel much better about it.
If your family refuses to give you the ashes, and they intend on dumping them anyway, ask if you can have them for a day as a final send off or something, and replace the ashes with some others. You can then keep your Father's real ashes, and they will be none the wiser when you give them a replacement that they will scatter somewhere. I am being serious about this. I would have done this in a heartbeat had I thought that someone was going to take away my loved one's ashes.

Yes. I personally feel that they are helping us. I don't know what their full motives are, but hopefully they are being driven by peaceful and pure intentions, rather than the intent of keeping the Earth radiation and pollution free so that they can eventually colonize and take over.
I also believe that there is a very good chance that Extraterrestrial beings (including Human-like species) are already here on Earth, and due to their similarities to Earthly Humans, they blend in well without being noticed. I believe that there are Humanoid civilizations all throughout our galaxy and beyond. As large as the Universe is, logic dictates that we aren't the only ones around, but rather that we Humans are a fairly common type of being in the Cosmos.
The Watchtower used to teach that God's throne (and home) was on Alcyone, in the Pleiades cluster. Out of all of their wacky teachings, I think that this one holds some truth, even though they had some of the details wrong. I don't believe that Jehovah lives there, but I am open to the possibilty that there are Human (and other species) civilizations there, and that they have had contact (albeit limited) with us for centuries.
Have you ever heard of the "Law of one" teachings from the ET who calls himself Ra? Most may blow this off as fantasy, but a lot of what he says is very interesting.

One only has to look to Ancient Egypt and Pharoah Akhenaten for evidence of possible ET contact.
On a similar note, in regards to UFO's, I believe that while many are either hoaxes or secret military experimentation, there are some sightings that truly are legitimate UFO's from other worlds as well as some who are time travelers from a distant future timeline on Earth, who are traveling back to our time period to learn and possibly to make some changes to history for the benefit of their future timeline.
There is so much that is being and has been kept under wraps. Eventually it will be brought out into the open as they are finding the truth harder to keep hidden. That is why there are so many TV shows as well as internet sites that are talking about "Aliens". The world is abuzz with everything having to do with space and extraterrestrials. They are giving us the truth in small doses so that when the big announcement comes, we will already be conditioned to accept it without as much fear.
Even the Vatican has recently admitted the possibility of intelligent life elsewhere in the Universe, and over the years they have invested large sums of money in their own and other's observatories and large telescopes. The Vatican library has books that are centuries old that are protected by armed guards, and I've read that some of the information contained in them would completely overturn everything we have been taught and believe, and would shake people's beliefs to the very core.
What a day it will be when the truth does come out! When it does, it really will be the dawning of the Age of Aquarius!!!
