Congrats on your Magazine! One of my non-JW Uncles who was also Gay, had a publishing company and produced a Weekly magazine in Ft. Lauderdale. I worked there for a few years, and it was fun! Hope your experience with it is likewise enjoyable!!!

JW's can't associate w/worldly types but can take thier money???

just seems sort of contradictory.
"i can't associate with you but i can take your dirty money and will pretend to like you to get it".

Is this the same God that was insistant of the murders of untold thousands of people throughout Bible history, and firstborn children? Is this the same God that loved the smell of burning flesh of innocent animals in sacrifice? And is this the same God who admits to being jeaulous, and of having a "Bad Spirit"? Or, could it be the same God that has allowed untold heartache and suffering to his people for thousands of years?
You must not be from the States, I am unaware of such strong Hallucinatory drugs here....

In regards to morals of Honesty, and helping one another out, I would have to say that I have always kept my morals. In regards to Sexual issues, I would have to say that I became a total Manwhore at times, and probably within my first year of being out of the org. I bet I made up for the years of celibacy while in the org. Nowadays I have chilled out to a more appropriate part-time semi-slut status....

Yes, I would get embarrased by the fact that I used to be one. Especially embarrassing was when I would date someone, I would try to keep it hush-hush as long as I could, as I did not want to chase them away, although when they did find out, they usually DID run. Guess enough people have heard about the JW's that some are afraid to have a relationship with anyone that used to be. Nowadays, though, I have to say that it does not bother me that other people know, sometimes I even get an occasional Condolence!!!

Yeah, actually they are kinda neat, and are excellent time-killers by trying to catch up and play games with them and see if I can focus on them. They almost look like germs. Some are squiggly, some have dots.....Maybe I should start naming them! I have that bright white line thingy going on in my right eye sometimes though, have since I was a kid, and that is a weird thing to see in my eye, guess I should have it checked someday...

by doodle-v inour daughter is seven years old and the other day i heard her say to our 12 year old son.. "takes one to know one!
" and then she stuck her little tounge out at him lol!

Offering them to people at every door.
Then it hit me, I was in a rut,
If I still had some of that Literature,
I could wipe my Butt!!!
