no - I was and still believe I am a moral person -- OK I frequent this board so I would be DFd for apaostasy - but that does not make me an imooral person -- I am a good person

Except for visiting this board, I haven't done anything the elders need to worry about.

In regards to morals of Honesty, and helping one another out, I would have to say that I have always kept my morals. In regards to Sexual issues, I would have to say that I became a total Manwhore at times, and probably within my first year of being out of the org. I bet I made up for the years of celibacy while in the org. Nowadays I have chilled out to a more appropriate part-time semi-slut status....

Absolutely I would be DF'd!!! But I've always said that I was greatful for being raised with strict religious morals. It gave a sense of what makes up a "good person". Then when I grew up I was able to have a more balanced view of things.

I smoke, drink, and cuss once in a while, but I think I'm still more moral than the pedophiles they keep in the org.

Yes, I think being a JW (or highly religious) helps enforce a certain level of morality.

Since leaving we have done a few things we wouldn't have done as dubs, but our morality is basically the same as before. True, I get drunk every now and then and swear a lot more, but it makes life more fun. I also try to watch only R-rated movies. I also support gays and and am pro-choice.

Personally I don't think there's anything noble about the morality religion forces on people. People obey certain rules just because they'll get something from it (paradise) or to avoid punishment (hell). It's better IMO to simply do something simply because you know it's the right thing to do.

LOL! I think I disposed of 98% of my good morals!

I would have been disfellowshipped by now (if I had gotten baptized). It would be either for smoking or pre-marital sex.
