God of the OT - not so gentle with gentiles genitals
by Gregor inwhat was the significance of all the focus on the foreskin?
the wt has tried to make a case that it was god's wisdom for humans health to remove it, even though god created man with it.
a design flaw followed by a manufacturers recall?

Beer and eggs, I can see your point, but the reaction of beer and Pickled eggs will peel the paint off of walls!

Releasing anger in healthy ways
by Lady Lee inreleasing anger in healthy ways.
how we express our anger can be helpful or harmful to us and others.
a lot of people think that getting angry is a sign of loss of control, a weakness.

A Course in Miracles, states that "all anger is an attempt to make someone feel guilty"
This is something interesting to ponder. I wonder if it also applies if someone takes out anger on themselves? Being raised in the Org. it was easy to feel guilty about every little thing. Old habits die hard. Now that we are out, could anger directed at ourselves be a way of making ourselves feel guilty, as that is what we knew when we were in the Org, and still have programmed in our minds that we should feel guilty? Hmmm....

Funny things you thought growing up -
by cognac in1. a "shower" as in "baby shower" or "wedding shower" was when a bunch of people got together to take a shower together.
which didn't go over well with me when my mom wanted to go to a shower without my dad.. 2. when my father said to my mom that he was going to marry somebody, as in do there vows or something, i thought he was going to marry somebody else and start another family.
i almost fainted when he told me that he was leaving to go do that.

In the Star Spangled Banner, when it said "By the dawns early light", I thought that it said "By the Donserly light", and thought that a Donserly light was a special type of lamp or flashlight.

Ever been out walking and come across the carcass of a rotting animal?
No, but if I did come across one, I would wipe it off.
I hate the smell of stinky armpits, or any other unclean fold, nook, or crannie.

I have a 1994 Black Chevy Conversion Van. It has been broken into, and they busted out my air vents, and dash around my stereo, but still runs like a top-(knock on wood). I took out the captain chairs in the middle, because I pick up lots of antiques, and needed room. The rear bench seat wouldn't come out, but am glad that I left it, because it has become a big conversation piece and joke amongst my friends, because there is a button that I can push, and it automatically folds down to make a bed.

For those who have moved from one city to another
by Lady Lee inwhat do you miss?
i'm sitting here thinking and realized most of what i miss is food related.
note: if you are scared of anyone figuring out who you are don't post the cities.. as a kid in toronto there was a candy store around the corner.

When I lived in Winnipeg, there was a hamburger place, I think it was called JJ's. They had little hamburgers that were slathered with watery mustard and chili, and had dill pickle slices. I loved them! I haven't had them in years, but think about them from time to time. Non food wise, I liked the city for it's friendly people, Being able to walk across the Assiniboine during winter to get to friend's homes, and the incredibly spectacular demonstrations of the Northern Lights!
When I lived in Minneapolis, there was a Chinese restaurant named Leann Chin's. It was some of the best Chinese I have ever eaten. Also, there was a place called Rudolph's, the decor was decked out with old time movie star photos and autographs, and they had the best ribs I have ever had. I lived right down the street from there, and many a night I went there, or placed an order to bring home.
Living in Ft. Lauderdale, there were some really good Cuban restaurants. It seems the only place to find authentic, good Cuban food is down there. Nonfoodwise, I loved my job down there, the weather was very temperate and mild, and I love to see nice, beautiful palm trees, especially Royal Palms, and Queen Palms. Almost 10 years down there, I went to the beach maybe 3 or 4 times!
Living in Middletown and Dayton Ohio, there are lots of buffets. There were some good buffets, and some VERY good buffets. I was thin and muscular until I moved up there. I still have about 20 pairs of jeans that I probably will never fit into again. I loved the hills up there, and the many winding roads driving through the countryside. There are Antique Shops, Flea Markets, and Yard Sales everywhere you turn. It would not be unusual to completely pack my van full of Antiques, have to run home to unload, so I could go back out and start over. Fall was beautiful, as was Spring. Winter was my time to hibernate.
Now I am living in Dallas. I am hooked on real Mexican Tacos. Meat, fresh seasonings, lots of cilantro, drenched in fresh squeezed lime. None of that taco seasoning packet stuff that you get in the stores. Totally different, and very addicting, all on freshly hand made tortillas. Yum! I like knowing several people from the board here in Texas. They are wonderful people. Even though I don't see them very often, it feels like a security blanket knowing that there are people nearby that have shared many of the unique experiences from being in the Org. Also, antiques, and the things that people collect here are very different than up north, and it has been fun finding more rustic, primitive, western types of things, although it is more challenging to find stuff, as there are not as many places to hunt and explore as up north.

I am sure you did not go to the same school. You would have had to at least complete a high school English course to enroll there. It appears that you aren't able to communicate through a proper sentence. This is a string of run-on thoughts.
University should not be capitalized unless it is followed by a proper noun. "Psychology" is not a proper noun and should not be capitalized, unless, of course, it is the first word in beginning a sentence.
Even though you did not make a complete sentence of the thought, ( "which university you studied psychology at") be advised the rule is that you never end a sentence with a preposition.
Also, you need to make sure all verbs are in the same tense. Your verbs vacillate between present and past tenses.
And just so you can improve your vocabulary, " graduating with top honors" is referred to as summa cum laude.
You're welcome.
Thank you for admitting that you are a pompous A**, albeit it appears that people have already figured that out!!!

Wow. I feel really bad for Cognac and her friend.
To those that made an issue, accused them, and questioned their motives, I would love to know which University you studied Psychology at, and evidently graduated with top honors. Being able to totally figure someone out after just a few posts, should put you in the same caliber as Freud himself! It also seems to me that just a couple of months ago, one of the accusers herself was worried that people thought she was a fake.
I remember when it used to be a lot more fun here, and when people felt really comfortable being here...
