  Saw My Mother!!!

  i was on my way home today, and i passed my mother on the road.

  tears came to my eyes immediately, just at the sight of her face.. i hate this religion.. but i love my mom.. i can't even remember, when the last time we spoke was.. i just want to sit down and talk to her, but i can't- i won't- because its her fault.

  i left a religion, she left her son.

  Richie reading this makes my heart go out to you and every "child" thats parent left them. And makes me appreciate seeing my kids and I get ever closer after the wt years.Sorry for what you are going through, and it is true we can select families that are better to us because they want to be.

  Yes I concur Gary was one of the first level headed people I noticed, that I was interested in what he said because of the way he said it. And the level headed ones stay on the board and try to help others I have noticed, so maybe there is something to that staying balanced thing we hear about.

  I am happy for people like you Gary, few seem to actually deal with life in a humorous way which is what I do and sometimes my humour gets me in trouble with them. Maybe I need to re-think my friends.

  So right in your obeservation Outlaw. My non and never a jw mom told me I was getting involved in a cult and it really pissed me off when it was proven to me she was right.

  Seriously I was stunned and shocked that I had been part of a mind-lifestyle altering cult. and I am fortunate my children seen it the same way, and are out with me and I can enjoy them in a "normal" way again.

  zeroday did somebody pee in your warm spot and interupt your sleep or what!

  to answer the question I have heard this lily-white-area <>mocking here folks I haven't a predjudice idea in my head) I live in is blanketed with meth labs it seems like every time we get the local news paper it says "largest drug bust, largest amount siezed in county"

  Just down the block within sight of my house is a small house I would see two little toddlers playing out side and would kinda worry cause they were usually alone no one out with them. ( My grandaughter is 6 and she never goes out alone and our neighborhood is considered safe) Anyway the windows on this house were boarded over whne this new family moved in, my first naive thought was they must work nights and need it dark for sleep during the day! still kinda worried me some with seeing the kids out. Then one day the cops were swarming the house and the kids were being carried to a police car and they were crying and screaming. It made the papers they had a lab in the house, I felt so sorry the children.

  Thats the closest I have seen to a jw in my neighborhood and I have been here three years nearly and they do not know who I am new town and all.My daughter lived here a couple years before me and she never had any call.

  i have finished my last class and will graduate on october 14th with my bachelors degree in business administration/management thirty three years after graduating from high school and 30 years after leaving the borg!

  I didn't watch the program. I would like to of seen it though someone asked about Oprah's reaction she has had shows where she pays rewards to people turning in pedophiles that are on the run.

  The NAMBLA sickies are also saying since homosexuality was once considered so taboo and is now an accepted part of our culture, it's just a matter of time before they will be too. What an insult to homosexual's How these vile forms of humanity can even get away with being alive is beyond me.

  If you have ever said "I would do this or that to a pedophile" and you wonder what that threat would look like! watch a movie just out called "Hard Candy" it is very graphic. but very satisfying in a cathartic kinda way.

  The internet had no influence what-so-ever in my decision to leave.I didn't have access to the internet when I was "in". I have found out a lot of information concerning the wts since leaving that certainly would of made me want to leave.
