A deeply heartfelt goodbye.
by Gregor init has been a wonderful several months getting to know y'all.
we've had some laughs, some tears, a few sharp words, but ultimately we are still brothers and sisters of the church of screw the watchtower and i will always remember this period of my journey.
there are so many names i have come to know, some real, most aliases, because your still scared of being found out, you apostate little bastards!

Contacting the "other side"
by sinis ini find it very interesting that the bible and mythology are very close, when speaking about god.
also the statement made by god in the bible to worship no other god but him, in effect saying that there are others gods.
has anyone actually looked into the occult, for lack of a better word, and actually made contact with an entity?

don't know if this is done already, but here is a pretty neat way for us all to map out where we are so if anyone is travelling, they know who is in the area...if anyone thinks this is a good idea, feel free to click and update!

Being treated worse by Elders than most worldly people would do, Having a friend thats husband was so abusive, she told the elders that came to "counsel" her! that she needed to be more submisive or She would cause problems for her elder husband. She had been married before and she told them her worldly husband was better to her and the children than elder hubby was. Had this happen also and not because we were being counciled but we were reporting an abuse. schne_belly quote
get yanked in the "back room" and counseled about what we were doing wrong. I will never forget leaving that back room to a kingdom hall of elders familys who would just repulsively smile at you!

17 Days: One Final Adventure
by Merry Magdalene ini once posted here a copy of my empassioned plea to the watchtower society--i want my mother back.
well, i just wanted to let all of you know that i got her back for a whole 17 days, and we had one final adventure together before she died, and there wasn't a damned thing they could do about it.. my mother is, was, a long-term loyal jw and i was her disfellowshipped daughter.
i believe she was in an almost constant state of conflict over me because her very strong maternal instincts demanded she behave openly and lovingly toward me, while her wts-trained conscience demanded the opposite.
