Do you think the TOP MEN (the governing body) of the WTS really believe they are proclaiming the truth?? Or do you think some of them KNOW the WTS is a bunch of bunk.....and just don't care??

Thanks! I was curious about that. I hope so very much that my family member SOMEDAY realizes what a sham the WTS org is. I've tried talking with him, sharing the WTS's flip-flop doctrines, false prophesies, etc. etc. It all seems to go in one ear and out the other. After reading alot of information, I guess I've come to realize that the person (JW) has to have some kind of negative personal experience in THEIR OWN LIFE brought on by the org. Such as being DF, or obverving a mistreatment of another, or a hypocrite elder.....the list goes on.
Do you know of ANYONE who has "seen the light" simply because someone told them the WTS is full of crap?

My Thoughts.......
by Sunspot inthink about this.........23,720 innocent little lambs, those that are jesus' precious lambs......have been sexually abused and mistreated.. that is a shocking number isn't it, considering the watchtower claims to be the only religion approved by god himself!
it is appalling to say the least!
besides that, the mere fact that it took one unsuspecting person to stumble onto and "uncover" this filthy secret file and expose it....is disturbing.

I feel for you, Octavia. It will take time to heal and forgive, but forgiveness is the key to healing.
In addition to what you said, I was thinking of all the good Witnesses that have died NEEDLESSLY because of the WTS's false teaching on organ transplants, whole blood transfusions and immunizations (which they have since changed)! Has the WTS made any compensation to the family members for being responsible for their loved ones' deaths? I DOUBT it!

Thanks for the answers! Pudd, I agree with your thinking; they'll probably be allright. They seem to really love each other. Michael, when you mentioned "gap", that hit home because that's what our whole family feels. There is a huge "gap" between all of us and her. We love her, but we just can't help but feel that way. This org is SO WEIRD. How could anyone think the WTS is The Truth?????

Hi Pudd,
Yes, she was going door to door; working very hard to get "accepted" into the org, and yes, they were living together before they got married.

Hi again,
I guess I forgot to say they were married (by a JP) BEFORE she got baptized. The husband goes with her to a meeting about every 3-4 months or so. She attends all the meetings, goes out on FS, etc. etc. Also, he just went with her to the memorial.

If a man marries a JW gal and the JW gal cannot get her husband to convert (he has no interest in joining, but supports her beliefs), will the JW gal be "looked down upon" by her KH? Do you see problems in the future for this couple? There are no children (yet).
