I was not there so i can not comment on the topics. But i think what was ment by the bible being the only book with Prophecies is that the bible is the only book that has fortold world events and the purpose of the messiah clearly. Isaiah fortold the death of Christ 300 years before it happened:
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
He was wounded for our transgression, and by his stripes we are healed.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
God layed upon this man the sins of us all
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He was accused falsely before the council but he did not retaliate or respond to aquit himself.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
He was taken from his chains and from the courts: crucified (cut off from the land of the living) for our sins.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
He died with theives, but was burried in a rich mans tomb.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
It was Gods pleasure to make him a sin offering, he will see those who put their trust in him (his seed (remember he has no generation to declare, so it is speaking of a different kind of seed)) and he would prolong his days (bring him to life again), and the pleasure of the LORD shall be fulfilled in his hand.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
The new testament states that to as many as believe in Jesus God he has given them the right to be called children of God (believe in his forgiveness, and accept his indwelling Holy Spirit). The word also says that the seed of God indwells the believer: the Holy Spirit. We are made children of God by having the seed of Jesus the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, making us his children (seed).
John 1:11 - 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
1 Peter 1:23 - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 John 3:9 - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
