Someone invites you for a delicious meal that's laced with a horrible poison. You could eat it but it would be an aweful price to pay to enjoy a meal however irresistible it may seem. Better eat something far inferior but not poisoned. For most ex JWs the WTS is a byword for lying and hypocrisy and the nice things there, are nothing but the bait for catching and enslaving people in a destructive cult enviroment. The losses by far outweigh the gains.

If there's some good in the Watchtower, why leave it?
by AlmostAtheist inthe post about crisis of conscience in which the poster said he knows there's some bad in the watchtower (as brought out in coc), but there's some good in it too got me to wondering about people that stay for the good in it.. the united states makes some decisions as a country that i don't agree with, perhaps even object strongly to.
but i don't disavow my citizenship.
it's mostly a good place to live, so i stay.. if you want to live in a way that utterly conflicts with the watchtower -- homosexual, multiple sex partners, smoking, whatever -- then you have reason to leave.

Black man that's a great posting an insider's information it really exposes the mythology around the faithful and discreet servant that carries so much weight with the brainless dubs who think of them as being on a sky high pedestal and lap up uncritically everything they tell them, whereas they are nothing but fakes of the real thing and deceitful impostors and manipulators. The truth is the precise opposite of the above. Who is the FDS in reality? The governing body, one dozen individuals, (not even the several thousands of the "remanent") and having come to know their behaviour we can definitely say Jesus has zero respect and trust in them they have treated his flock most unlovingly, they never went through any real hardships obviously they had an easy life with plenty of money and servants and this organisation has little if any divine blessing and people are leaving it in droves. You will recognize the tree from its fruits, no shepard would entrust his flock to a pack of wolves even if they wear sheep's clothing.

I don't know what all you guys are doing in the USA with so many people coming out of the borg you should have organised by now a fully fledged inter state institution to counter the WTS and its venomous actions to receive encourage integrate each other and those to come out in the future to deprogram them fast and wholly so they won't have to suffer emotionally and be crippled in life for years and years.
To feel lost and powerless upon exiting is precisely what the Brooklyn mind manipulators want so that you cannot organise resistance and hit them back hard for the disgraceful way they treated you with the right organisation and counter propaganda you could have demolished them by now. They want you demoralised and confused so you can't react effectively.
Form your own organisation that will have everything they supressed brotherly love christian freedom a good culture a humane face no cold hearted dictators and devious thinkers and lousy authoritarians.
Then no one would have to suffer the humiliations described, going back to be further tormented by these criminals.This diabolical game has to stopped in its tracks.

JW org is very good at entangling people emotionally in its ideological nets and breaking free can be difficult there s a lot of clever psychology behind it all, a smart design of ideas. In my view the key so as to escape this emotional captivity is to demolish the ridiculous idea that the WTS is so highly esteemed by god so as to have been appointed as his plenipotentiary on earth (whatever they did to earn such a divine goodwill)
Getting rejected by the WTS (disfellowshipped) is not equivalent to rejection by god, since contrary to what the JWs claim, there is no acceptance by god of the WTS as his representative and absolutely no connection between the two. That's just an outright fraudulent idea that they made up to gain authority to put themselves on a sky high pedestal so that their word would carry a lot of weight and credibility and appear indisputable and thus enable them to impose their self serving wishes on the naive and gullible. Once accepted, taken at heart, such an idea involving powerful authority figures begins to aquire a lot of compelling psychological force and can be very awkward to demolish and therein bring crushing down the whole complex of mind enslaving concepts of the WTS, since if they are not from god their entire complex of ideas loses its aura of sanctity and validity they become nothing. Then you do away with the train of ideas that paralyses all JWs with a sense of dread: if the WTS rejects me then god rejects me which is very worrying since armageddon is very near with its crashing finality, die there and you are lost forever no ressurection nothing. That's the essence of the WST grip on their emotional world and it's all patent non sense from ruthless manipulators.
WTS leaders are nothing but a bunch of utterly uninspired men who have not excelled in effecting any kind of intellectual, emotional, or spiritual development in their followers but they did however excell in the practice of deceit and in playing endless silly mind control games, always concerned with preserving their own authority rather than lovingly protecting the flock.
Upon getting fully informed on their history you will see that Adolf Hitler would make a better rep of god on earth, the man was criminally minded but at least he was frank about his real intentions.
