  Do you feel, "Love with strings, Is Not Love?

  i have just started listening to a cd from the robbins group, ... it is an interview with leo buscaglia.. he made this statement, "that love with strings is not love.

  " it really drove home a reminder of my association with jw's.

  if you don't do what we tell you we will not love you.. then he said, ... humans blame love.

  i have been reading many of the posts and i can not get over how many people have similar feelings to me.

  i would like to share my background.

  first i was born into the organization and all the relatives that i knew were jws.

  He made this statement, "that Love with strings is not love." It really drove home a reminder of my association with JW's. If you don't do what we tell you we will not love you.

  Then he said, ... humans blame love. Example, ... Love is not this, and love is not that. The point he is making is not to focus on what love is not, but, how to show sincere affection, and fill the human need of love.

  according to the weather crawler that just ran across the tv screen, now we are expecting hail/snow pellets within the next hour or so!

  it has been sunny (but cold) all morning.. i wish you hadn't sent this mess down here across the lake!

  My JW neighbor's birthday

  as i was headed home the other day, it occurred to me that it was my jw neighbor's birthday.

  i remembered this as i realized that she would be at my home in about 20 minutes so that i could help her with something.

  so, i quickly stopped at a store and got her a gift, and had it gift-wrapped.

  went to assembly past weekend lol

  went to an assembly this past saturday.

  reason why i went cause my mother in law was baptized so the rest of us non believers went for moral support.

  it was in the "famous stanley theater" in nj that i heard so much about growing up, my mother was so happy even thou i went, watched baptizm, ate with my inlaws, and was out like a bolt of lightning lol.

  Last JW meeting

  when you finally came to the jw meeting that you knew was your last one, what were your thoughts, feelings or actions?

  my last was the summer convent of 1986. i stood there until everyone left and then i took a picture with my new camera of the empty stadium, the wish being that the wts would collapse and never fill up again stadiums with people.
