  Fudging on "Field Service Report"

  when i was a jdub i used to write down whatever hours i wanted to write down.

  when i was pioneering for 7 years i would add a few hours to my time each month so that i wouldn?t fall too far behind.

  even when i wasn?t pioneering though i would inflate my hours a bit sometimes so i wouldn?t have the elders hounding me about my time and also so i could hold a ?position?.

  WT images - CD-ROM anyone elese receive this

  today i received a cd-rom of pictures, from various watchtower publications, that contain subliminal images.

  it was sent to me anonymously, from somewhere in the north of england.

  someone who has my home address but i don't recall anyone in the north who has it.

  Some of the supposed subliminal images are a little bit of a stretch, but I've also seen some that are so blatant that I can't comprehend why I didn't notice them before.

  "Mother's Day Sucks"

  so say mothers.. cj and i were talking last week about mother's day and i felt she was dreading it.

  the reason given was in order for us husbands and children to feel like we were giving mom a break on sunday, moms had to work extra hard on saturday to get all the regular work done, so mom could appear to relax on sunday.

  i conducted an informal poll with other women and got the same replies.. so i issue this as a challenge to you husbands and children of the woman you love.

  I despise Mother's Day for the same reason I hate Father's Day. I don' t have either one thanks to the Witnesses and the holidays make me miss them. My mother and father have both made it very clear that if I'm not a witness I may just as well fall off the edge of the earth.

  i was just examining the wt daily and found this little turd tucked away in the wt 3-15-00 page 13.

  a brilliant flash of light on one bible subject sometimes leads god?s anointed servants, "the faithful and discreet slave," to reexamine related topics, as the following recent example illustrates .

  so when our view of a bible passage is clarified, let us rejoice in advancing truth!

  Do you lie about your age in your profile???

  we all have to be careful about how much information we give out over the net,,it is wise and prudent in some areas,, but what about age???.

  now i know many women don't like to admit they are over 29 what do you think is the percentage of correct profiles in reguards to age??.

  this is private information and i don't want this to be a prying type of thread just reasonable discussion.

  Elmer, all I can say is that if I were still a Witness I would hope that someone would care enough about me to try and help me. I will qualify that statement, however, by saying that I have tried to help my parents for some time through letter writing and finally had to give up because when they started getting hostile with me I felt like it caused my own family too much hurt. Best of luck.

  mine is ecc 7:3 "better is vexation than laughter, for by the crossness of the face the heart becomes better.
