do you still subscribe to the wt & awake?
i am curious because i noticed that some here seem to know what is coming up in the current mags (i know some people here are active jw) -- but if you are df'd or inactive (like me) do you still like reading the mags?
i have found that i have no desire to see the magazines -- let alone read them.. thanks.. purza (who is just curious)
Sassy, I damn near died when I read your post. I had been looking on the "official website" to see if I could get a subscription because I like to try to keep up with what they are doing these days. They've got to have some ulterior motive behind this. Maybe it is to keep apostate activity down. Sounds a little narcissistic of us to think that, but I really can't think of any other reason (I don't really believe it was due to postage costs).

The auburn is nice. I admire you, I personally don't have the guts to color my hair.

hello everyone i wrote a case study in here ages ago in about febuary time if anyone would like to read that any information would be great.
at the moment i am tryin to finish my essay and was wondering does anyone know of any good websites that show the alternatives to blood in situation such as jehovahs witness would recieve and what would be exceptable to recieve .
thank you for your help and it has been a real insite researching for this essay.
I know that the local hospital in my area has a bloodless medicine program, you might be able to find some info on their website.

despite the parents objections, a duval county, florida (jacksonville area) judge ordered blood transfusions for a baby born prematurely.
interestingly, even the aclu did not side with the parents.

Maybe it was just my Dad's thing(he was the PO). We were never allowed to go to any religiously based hospital. If it was allowed for any other witnesses I stand corrected.

just heard from a couple of news sources that in san diego, some teachers have been alledged to have shown the berg video to their classes, telling them that "this is what bush has done.

I am pissed that any teacher would take it upon themselves to decide whether or not my child or any child should watch this video. If my daughter had have watched it without my consent, I would have gone up to the school and punched her teacher right in the nose, without fail.

i met a ex-jw this week who left the borg 20yrs ago.
his kid was a hemophylliac and needed frequent blood transfusions etc.
fortunately his child grew into a rather normal adult with the aid of modern medicine.
I know someone in Texas that does the same thing. Scary ain't it?
