My boyfriend is a JW
by little_red_birdie ini am just a young teenager, and my first ever boyfriend is a jw!!
at that time i didn't even know what a jw was, no one at school ever really mentioned anything.
i had no idea what i was getting into.

Red, I read your mama's post. I really don't know what to say, but hang in there. Feel free to email with questions; my wife and I went through hell, and both of us were IN the JW's at the time.
Just be prepared for friction, because it will come.

Who has UNconditional love?

now, i understand the import: they love someone only on the condition that someone remains a jw "in good standing.
however, the term 'unconditional love' is proferred in a positive light.

Friends we are too unbalanced.
by sleepy inwell sometimes we are.. look we have the knowledge and experience to help a lot of people.must of us have one time been jw's and understand how many think.so lets not put them off by being too negative.. when we were witnesses most of us were quite happy .
we tried to be good people , to put into practise principles that many people think are good.
we did this sometimes even when we didn't want to , because we thought god would hold us accountable and because we cared for people .

Good thoughts from the both of you, but perhaps you are older. I'm 22(male) and full of rage; perhaps you are right about unfair comparisons. You're right, the witnesses aren't nazi's. They don't preach genocide, but even love sometimes. It's just the end result of BEAUROCRACY that seems to be the trouble. You think?

P.S.-sometimes, after they hurt my wife, I just want (figurative) BLOOD. I want revenge for the hurt they visit on my wife, and perhaps that's why youhave found so many people who may seem to be way off the deep end here. But, thank you for your level heads.

Gracias for the responses...for all those who are coping with issues right now, I know what you're feeling. I struggle every day with some kind of illness, I don't know what it is, though. I just don't want to know. I'm kind of afraid of a label, you know what I mean?
My father is Bi-Polar at least. He would start WW3, and ten minutes later would be laughing at something on TV. My mother would scream, "After all that just happened, you can find something FUNNY!!!!'
Wonder-Thanks for the post. What sort of therapy, meaning, what does the therapy consist of? Is it a normal therapy for a person your age...(I'm 22, so your age caught my eye).
Nicolas- as for the diabates, I understand that well....I am hypoglycemic, and man, I really lose my head when I don't eat....sometimes I shake like a leaf and my mind seems to spin with thought, although it happens at other times, too.
Six,-I can't understand if you don't tell me.....
Ranch-What helped you? I am very curious, because I am having similar problems. No real relaitonship probs, but just within myself.
To all those who are stable...THANK GOODNESS!!!! I hope you guys stay that way. It must be a nice way to live.
