  What if the elders dont come see you at all?

  i was looking at the post of,another member here and he stated how he hates when the elders come to harass his wife for not coming to the meetings,but what if they never come?

  my wife has been missing from the meetings for almost a year now due to illness,and i have been missing the meetings dueto my relocating after the 9/11 attacks we get a phone call once every 2 months from one elder,and thats about it.we got a shepherding call only out of fear of what the circuit overseer might say to them for not seeing us.what to do?

  The Unforgivable Sin

  one of those phrases that jw's always seem to (amusingly) lower their voices when saying is "the unforgivable sin".

  this is defined as, i believe, grieving the holy spirit.. when i was a witness, it was generally assumed that adolf hitler had committed the unforgivable sin.

  presumably because he wasn't taken in with the wt's brown-nosing of the nazis.

  i'd like to say f**k you to all people who have hurt my wife and i and continue to do so.

  these f**king c***s continually try to hurt my wife because she won't kiss their asses.

  Thanks for the responses, guys. I read them all. I only get angry when it is happening...the same thing over and over. I do hate them, which is a shame, but I do.

  You're right, my father is personally responsible, but I don't think he would have been half as bad if he wasn't a JW. He simply wouldn't have had the fuel for the fire.

  I do have caller ID and voicemail, but now and again, we have to contact them. My wife has several siblings who we don't want to abandon.

  I don't know, I feel bad to forgive them, and bad to hate them. They haven't ruined my life, just made it immeasurably harder than it should have been.

  She's no longer attending. She sees them for what they are, and she never wants to return. But, the emotional abuse she still receives from her parents upsets her for days. I work so hard to make her happy and these mother f**kers ruin it in a phone call.

  I'm so tired of fighting. I've been fighting them since I was a little boy. I fought teachings on Armageddon, abuse, etc. My father was a wretched man who was empowered by the JW's to beat the shit out of me every nite. Now that he is partially out, he's a little better, but my youth is over. too late for any help there.

  I just want them to go away, forget us, abandon us, just leave us the f**k alone.
