What will it take?
by ballistic into be taught not to criticise or analyse what you are being told, to be taught not to think for one self and to be taught that information can only come from one source, to be taught not to listen to the reasoned argument of people with other beliefs should surely set alarm bells ringing.. especially when this source has proved to be unreliable through decades of changing doctrine.. what will it take for people to realise?
even when they abandon 1914, will people take note?
will just a few people be "stumbled" and then the old teaching quickly be forgotten?.

Friends we are too unbalanced.
by sleepy inwell sometimes we are.. look we have the knowledge and experience to help a lot of people.must of us have one time been jw's and understand how many think.so lets not put them off by being too negative.. when we were witnesses most of us were quite happy .
we tried to be good people , to put into practise principles that many people think are good.
we did this sometimes even when we didn't want to , because we thought god would hold us accountable and because we cared for people .

Absolutly,
but in isolated cases. Does the catholic church encourage men to assault altar boys? NO. In fact, the pope even apologized recently for the sins of his parishoners. Yet the JW's hide it. I know personally of three people who were sexually abused and nothing was done to the criminal......
just an example.

Who has UNconditional love?

now, i understand the import: they love someone only on the condition that someone remains a jw "in good standing.
however, the term 'unconditional love' is proferred in a positive light.

No. I would not allow myself to be abused, that is, my physical self, but love is a feeling, a feeling cannot be abused. You can love someone and not live with them.

you're mixing up unconditional love with unconditional behavior....loveing someone precludes no action....if my wife left me forever, and even stopped loving me, yes, I would love her unconditionally until my passing day, but that doesn't mean I'd be PINING for her until the day I died.
Love is not always expressed through actions.
