If the most of the money comes from member donations, do they own the title on the property and building? Also, I have heard that they take loans out from the WTS and then have to repay with interest in order to build these things. If that's true, and the WTS owns the title, it's a nice little earner isn't it? No wonder they have over 200 billion in assets.

Well, I wouldn't have been mad you because I'm similar, even though I am a woman. I don't want to impose, I don't want to be a whiner, and I don't want anyone to see me in pain. Also, what if it turns out to be no big deal? What if you called someone at 3 in the morning to drive you to the hospital with intense pain, and half way there you passed gas and then suddenly felt fine? (Yes, I do have a vivid imagination about these things - it's a curse). And I think it's harder for men, because say what you like, they often have to be the strong ones, and so they can feel that it will let everyone down if they show weakness. But I do really think the other folks on here are right, it's probably better to be a little less stoic and reach out a bit more. What if you'd passed out from the pain and crashed the car?

The day I get laid the Fourhorsemen are loosed.
Heeheehee. I hope you don't mention that on when you're out on dates. It's bound to put a damper on the fun.

Too Posh To Push
by Englishman init seems that many uk women are opting to have their babies via a caesarian operation because they don't want to experience the pain of childbirth.. the national health service will only perform caesarians if there is a genuine medical neccessity for doing so.. women such as liz hurley and victoria beckham paid to have their babies via a c section even though it wasn't medically neccessary.

i wonder if they will regret it later in life?.

It was my understanding at the time that they were unsure of the possible effects of an epidural on children. (of course this was 9 years ago) Why take a chance if you don't have to?
edited to add after doing a quick google search...there are other complications for the baby associated with having an epidural, ie higher risk of having to do a c-section or using forceps.
There can also be complications for the mother, I have heard some real horror stories about the anesthesiologist not being able to find the spinal column and also about buildups of scar tissue around the puncture. I resisted as long as I could but I had 56 hours of painful pre-labour, because I really didn't want one, and I don't think I'd go that long again. I still wouldn't exactly recommend it, but I'm glad it was there when I needed it.

I breast fed immediately after delivery and continued to do so until I fell pregnant with the next child with the exception being the age difference in my third and fourth child! (Eight years is far too long to lactate)! I firmly believe that this strengthened the bonds between myself and my children.
It was a really strange experience to read this while looking at a picture of Kurt Cobain, LOL.

Should the age of consent for sexual acts be changed?
by RubyTuesday inthis woman seems to think so.pretty scary who is controlling our laws..wouldn't you say?
june 14: avowed feminist and aclu activist ruth bader ginsberg was appointed to be an associate justice on the supreme court.
based on a report she co-authored and on her previous decisions, these are some of the positions she has expressed in the past.

PS I do agree with Lyin Eyes, there's a problem with a 17 year old going to jail for having sex with a 15 year old. But changing the age of consent to 12 would be a paedophile's dream, so they are going to have to find some other solution to that problem.

Yeah, I think prostitution should be legalised probably. Then it can be regulated and the government can tax it and keep an eye on the money it generates. The rest seems pretty bonkers to me. But I don't think there's any cause for worry. ACLU radfems are hardly the people making our laws, and not likely to be any time in the foreseeable future.

That was my understanding too. I just didn't want it because sometimes epidurals go horribly pear-shaped.

They didnt give you more? They gave me more when mine ran out. Out of four the last one was the only one I had the epidural and it was wonderful!
They wouldn't because it was too late, my daughter was just about out the door. But it was bliss while it lasted. After the anaesthesiologist gave it to me I was so euphoric and grateful that I started chatting him up, right in front of my husband and the doctor and the nurse and two midwives. But that's the nitrous too, it always makes me behave like an ass. I just shudder when I think back on that, because, well, you know how you LOOK when you're having a baby. It really ain't the time to flirt.

I'm convinced that you started shouting "SERVES YOU RIGHT" when the WTC got hit Realist.
That's such a rotten thing to say. Just because people don't like American foreign policy and don't like Bush doesn't mean they are glad to see people die. Jeesh.
