  Did anyone accuse you of being materialistic?

  these days, it takes a lot of money to make ends meet.

  i live in southern california, and it takes even more.

  let alone if one wants to get ahead in life.. in order to do that, either one needs schooling, or must own their own business.

  I was accused of being materialistic after I left the org. I worked at a garage (in the office) and one day i bought my new jeep and was showing it off to everyone...All the machanics where looking at it. One of the mechanics was a JW (an Elder!!)that was constantly trying to hook me up with his wife so that she could teach me their garbage...(He did't know i used to be one) He didn't say much when all the other mechanics where checking it out.When they left he stayed and started preaching to me about how we should worship god and that storing up material things on earth is wrong...blah blah blah ....guess he expected me to walk 30 miles to work everyday. The last thing he said is...don't become a slave to your possesiions.

  About 2 months later i notice all this commontion in the garage...He had just bought a Porshe and was showing it to all the mechanics. I went out and looked at it and as i was walking away i said (just had too) Be carefull you would'nt want to be a slave to your possesions now would you? when i looked back he turned a bright red and could'nt look me in the eye.

  this guy is going against what every englishman really wants by standing side by side with you yanks on everything bush decideds to do .

  as terrible as 9/11 really was , if it was london that dusty bin laden would have hit , there is no way that bush would be side by side with blair in a 'war on terrorism' .

  This situation would never happen to me.We would'nt be out in public in the first place.My boyfriend keeps me chained up at home that time of month.He says he is just doing his duty to keep the streets safer.

  I Need To Gain Weight??

  i am so bummed!

  i went to the doctor yesterday and he said that i was too thin and that i need to gain 5 or 10 pounds.

  i don't understand why.

  Dutchie..you can bulk up by using weight machines at your gym..(sounds like that is what your doing) The trick is to move the weights slowly...people that want to slim down use lighter weights and faster reps.

  I can't believe your doctor doesn't know that working out on weights not only builds muscle it also makes your bones stronger...These docs need a refresher course.

  the guy even admitted to his lawyers that he did it.

  The suggestion of giveing you a pill...really makes my blood boil!! Did he even bother to suggest certain foods to eat..did he take the time?I doubt it. He says you need to gain just five pounds...doesnt sound life threating to me. I think you should get another doctor.
