Yes...more and more every day. I am more aware of how "I speak to myself" If I say something to myself that is self defeating , I try to change it to something more positive. I actually enjoy doing things by myself...like go to movies or out to eat...I enjoy my company.. especially when I try to find something funny in different situations...I crack myself up!!!

Do You Love Yourself???
by minimus ini believe that before you can love another, you must love yourself first.
some seem to loathe themselves.
others seem to adore themselves.

I think DJ hit the nail on the head.
An awful lot of life doesn't make sense to me.
Maybe thats what Will meant.
If I focus on that I will go mad
This reminds me of a scripture in the bible (not sure where) It says (to this effect) We should NOT try to figure out everything...that it Will make you crazy.
I think we should just enjoy life and try to make it better for others.

Do you think you will ever experience terrorism yourself?
by freedom96 ini bet the people in the twin towers never thought they would be the victims of a terrorist attack.
sometimes the stuff that happens overseas seem so far away.
i look around my community and find it hard to believe that anything is going to happen here.. i live in southern califonia, near san diego, and who knows?

I live about 20 minutes from a major power plant(Diablo Canyon). I was a little worried right after 911. My bosses wife is a nuclear engineer there and she told me that It is probably one of the most safest places to be if something happened. It is extremely well gaurded. Its funny...when you drive out there ..if you look hard enough you see snipers sitting on hills ready to shoot. As for your question...no ..I really don't think I will ever experience terrorism...but who knows?

Why On Earth Did You Ever Become A Witness & What Made You Decide To Leave?
by minimus ini've known for years that if i was visited at my home by jehovah's witnesses, i would have become a do not call.
i would have firmly but politely told the witnesses to never come back to my door and bother me again.
since i was raised "in the truth", i learned the religion from infancy.

I had no choice in the matter.....was raised in it. I secretly hated the whole scene , at the time I thought I must be evil but I now know it was my gut instinct, which I am now in fine tune with. When I was 17 I left when I was wrongly accused of something by a sick elder. Now , Life is good!!

Bend with the wind We got the misty rain fallin,' In the sparklin' sunlight, And its shining so bright. Where would I be, If you weren't there for me? I'd still be in the night. Centered in light, Rooted in love, Peaceful like a dove. The wind howls above.
CHORUS: Bend with the wind, Go with the flow, Roll with the punches,
The wind's gonna blow, The wind's gonna blow.
Soft is supple, What's hard is brittle, The stubborn shall be broken.
Raindrops are soft, Boulders are hard, Yet raindrops carve the canyons.
When the storm comes heeded, Large trees get weeded, Small grass is undefeated. The wind knows what's needed.
We're being asked to change, The world is rearranged, Let go of expectations.
Wind blows through the trees, Leaves bend in harmony, Wind never blows the same way twice.
Suffering and pain, Are winds of gain, Let go of all your vice. The wind knows what's right.
