Has GOD ever gotten your attention?

if so,please tell us how.some have said that god uses a number of ways to capture our attention.for example:have you ever had an important message to tell someone,but you couldn't get that person's undivided attention,yet you persisted and finally got their attention.there probably was a number of ways you tried.. has this happened to you personally?has god ever gotten your attention?what number of ways do you think it took for god to get your attention?

i realize that the answer to this question would have to be a personal experience that only you could believe has happened.. please share your experience in this regard for me,as it has not happened to me yet.. blueblades

i have a friend who opened up a local bar , we live in a very small town, and she is trying to get the place up and running.

wildturkey is helping her with running the pool tournaments and she told me i could do anything i wanted to , help myself to snacks , cokes ,beer , whatever.

she said i could sit behind the bar if anyone bothered me .

Let me say that most married guys are loyal....didn't mean for it to sound like that. Be careful though, I was going to only do this for a few months to pay off some credit cards( I also work full time as an office manager) But I enjoyed it so much , a year later I'm still at it. Sounds like your doing a great job since your having fun ...some people just never get the hang of it.

I have been bartending for about a year now at a swanky resort on the central coast in California.I can't believe I make so much money just hanging out and having fun.I make anywhere from $100.00 to $350.00 dollars a night(thats week days...I have my weekends off).I always have cash in my pocket and more friends than I have ever had in my whole life.If you have a great sense of humor and are very friendly you will do great( I make it a point to remember names and what they drink, really impresses them)

Watch out for the married men...they are the worse. Once they get way from the wife and kids they want to let loose and "party" I can't even begin to count how many times I have heard...I'm in room 162,stop by when you get off work.( something about that room number...lol)

I too worked at a pizza joint. I served pizza and beer at age 14. I learned to not trust men.A customer threw a salt shaker at me and called me the "C" word in front of his family. The manager one night after closing time tried putting his hand up my skirt.I never went back.
