my mom had her valve replacement and triple by-pass surgery today.
the operation lasted five hours, and they had just gotten her to her room at 8:00pm when she went into cardiac arrest.
the doctor tried everything, even opening up her chest and massaging her heart.
Very, very sad.

i think that if i had to describe my basic attitude toward life, the universe, and everything in one sentence, it would be this:.
generally, and on reflection, life is better today than it was yesterday.. very anti-thetical to the wt view of things, i know.

I asked my husband for a divorce yesterday.
Maybe this is the source of your difficulty. Why are you asking?
If you want a divorce, go get one. You don't need to give advance notification, you don't need permission.
Wishing you the best,
Nina

Most of the information I've seen on this topic says "see your doctor immediately".

about a few days ago i went to hand in my final paper at a university in manhattan.
i won't go into details about the school because i want to keep it to a certain extent personal.
there is this professor that is 38years old but he looks like he is 26 years old.
Report him NOW to the Dean of Students, to the Dean of his Department, to (your school's version of the) Office of Institutional Equity, and to someone in the Counseling Dept. if your school has one. Put it in writing. Add to it that you do not want the information released publicly.
The NOW is so that he can't mess with your grade.
These things happen routinely. Don't feel that you will be blighting your name by reporting him. You will be saving your neck!
