Ok, simply put your 1999 WT Library CD in your CD-ROM drive and then open WinAmp. Go to "open" in WinAmp as if you're going to play a music file from the CD. When WinAmp reads the CD, it will put a label for the CD in the playlist window.
The label it put for mine was: Yngwie Malmsteen
I had never even heard of this artist until I did a google search on him. Turns out he is a heavy metal/death metal artist that refers to demons and such. Why are the WT Library CDs carrying these kinds of labels?

Is there anyone at Bethel who knows Greek or Hebrew?
by VM44 infred franz was known to have some knowledge of the greek and hebrew languages, and made use of that knowledge when he worked on the new world translation of the holy scriptures.
but he died in 1992. is there anyone at bethel today who has a knowledge of these biblicl languages?.
it would be strange if a religious book publishing organization turned out to have no one at all who could read the bible in its original languages.. does anyone know what people are currently on the watchtower's bible translation committee, and if they know the languages?.

Yeah, I always wished that I knew who exactly was on the committee in the 50's. I think we can say that Fred Franz was on it, if the chairman, for sure. But like I said, if somebody as common as my friend who teaches at Patterson knows Greek well enough to translate from original Koine texts, I'm sure many others up there have the knowledge. And this guy is only like 50 or 60 years old.
I'm thinking the trick is actually getting the training. For instance, with me, I would be looked down upon at Bethel or in the local congregation for getting a degree from a worldly university in Greek.

Some of the members of the Governing Body that are still alive are fluent in Koine Greek and know Hebrew as well. Brother Klein (if he's still alive) knows/knew Greek. Brother Sydlik had something to do with the NWT I think. A good friend of mine that teaches traveling overseers at Patterson is very well versed in teh Koine dialect. If he is, I'm sure many other teachers and others there know it.
I recieved my degree in New Testament Greek from London Bible College. I also have some knowledge of Hebrew.
