Non Jw Dating a JW

i am not totaly clear about the rules about jw's in dating.
could someone explain this to me and does it vary from family to family at all?

Here is another vote to RUN!
You may be a means to an end for her. She wants to leave JW's but can't do it on her own. Once she decides that she won't/can't leave she will ditch you. You will be left high and dry, wondering why she won't talk to you anymore.
By the way, this is a true story. It didn't happen to me, but happened to a friend of mine. They were even engaged! It was such a bad experience for him that he won't talk about it to this day.

Why did I leave after 50 yrs a JW
by londoner ini am not posting this to justify my actions, i am doing so for the benifit of any witnesses who are unsure about there feelings toward the "truth".
i was a reguler pioneer for about 8 yrs, back when it was 100 hours a month, befor thet i did a couple of yrs as a vacation pioneer, they later changed the name to auxilery pioneer, and during the following 20 yrs i had a few intermitant spells as an auxilery when i had time to.
during my pioneer years i have given talks at circuit assemblies and had assignments at district assemblies .

I feel my life has been wasted, taken from me, yes I am bitter, I still lose sleep over it often, but I am slowly starting to feel a heavy weight has been lifted from my back.
You have every reason to be bitter. I was raised a JW and wasted 25 years. When I left, I wondered if bitterness varied linear or exponentially with the amount of time wasted. -

I was in a casino last night and I said to the croupier, "Im just going to the bar to get a drink", and a girl, a complete stranger said to me, "I'll look after your chips" (there was about £7000) I said ok and went to the bar. When I got back, she gave me £300 pound back and had lost the rest gambling with my money. I have to point out at this stage that is was toy money in aid of the tsunami, but even so. [I know the more I experience of women, the more cynical I am becoming]
The real questions is, would she have given you your winnings had she done well?
It sounds like these dating these dating sites are a losing matter. -

As his Mom I was totally puzzled by these goings on. Of course most of the details I didnt' know till my sons and I all left the witnesses and he told me of his sexual escapades among the JW's. What the heck is the attraction to the bad boys who treat girls with total lack of caring, and just hanging with the worldly guys seem to make them instantly appealing.
My worldly friend is the same way. He completely womanizes and mistreats women. Yet, they can't get in line fast enough to be with him. The more he mistreats them the more they seem to latch on. I see many other men that treat women the same way and women can't get enough of them.
I consider myself a nice guy, but I can barely get a date. What is the deal?
Its good to see that I'm not the only one who is having a tough time with relationships after JW's.
