rev - Friends of mine (grown professional adults who I would trust with my life and would never lie to me) upon visiting their parents in Cuba purchased furniture for their parents. Only a certain class of people can purchase furniture there from the way they explained things to me. The only piece of furniture they had was a 3-legged table and when they left they had a house full. After they left, the military did find out what they had and all furniture was confiscated and he and his wife were beaten very badly. Sad, but a very true experience.

Forgiveness is one of the biggest keys to healing and happiness. Forgiveness of yourself included. Without it, all the bad memories well up inside, simmer and boil, explode and then continue another cycle. Without forgiveness, in my opinion, you can't ever heal.
Again, I reiterate, J-DUB parents cannot help being they way they are. I feel they are truly brainwashed, diseased in the mind. Would a parent be a bad parent if they knew better? Well, perhaps, but I tend to think they are very sick in the mind.
Would a sane person with a healthy brain molest or abuse an innocent person? No. this can be argued all day I suppose but when you come down to it, it is all about mental health. Some have it, some don't.

It is in my opinion that the whole Watchtower itself fits into the entire scenario of the blind leading the blind who cannot or will not overcome their lust for power or their egotistical pride to change a few things.

by Kent infrom today there will be a new boe letter posted every day on the watchtower observer.. on http://kent.steinhaug.com/boe these letters will be downloadable as pdf documents, and every day i'm at home a new letter will be posted.
