  Why they get thrown out of houses!

  i requested their new book & home bible study.

  i had "studied" with them before when i lived in a different area.. they came to my house, a white lady & a black lady for about 2-3 studies, which went good.. then the white lady came by herself a couple of times & desided no to teach from the book, but had her own "lesson" written out ...." teaching her own doctrine & views on things".

  i cancled the next "bible study".... that is the last i have seen of her... she is not welcome at my house!.

  "they are in my opinion, a disgrace!

  " i have posted about their racest practices & unwillingness to distribute watchtowers & awake magazines to everyone on prior occasions..... i "finally" see one of them distributing the magazines at the bus stop and she is walking along "with a cigarette hanging out the side of her mouth", smoking while she is doing it.. the witnesses in this area need a better attitude about what they are doing!!

  "You could tell she was headed for her Bible study".... it was the day of the week for the required Bible study, the time of day for the Bible study. ... she had the "standard" black JW Bible, plus the "suplimentary" book with her.

  It was "her" cab. She was in the cab first, I was going to the same street & was offered to ride too..... & "I looked" to see how much she gave the driver, so I could base what I gave the driver upon that. I would never have the nerve to give the driver $1 for a fare metored at $6 by the "legal" cab company.... the lowest I would go is to "hand him a $5 bill"

  I got of the bus from work the other day & got into a cab to take me the rest of the way home. There was a "Witness" in the taxi on her way to her Bible study, down the street from where I live. She had her "books" in a decorative, little shopping bag... she was dressed very nicely, BUT she had on a "pantsuit".

  The cabs around here are "bad", real slow & there is only 1 cab company! They have "jitnies" (illegal cabs) that park/wait around the train & bus stations to pic up people. Since they do not have metors in their cars, you pay them whatever you want.... The "Witness" gave him $1 for the cab ride..... I paid him $6, what the usual metored ride is & was glad not to have waited 20 minutes for a cab.

  What's wrong with this picture??? A "Witness" wearing pants to a Bible study, traveling in an "illegal cab" & ripping him off ( or at least not being "genorous") & paying him only $1 for the trip......

  "I have no reason to post anything that is not true!" .... this just seems to be an area where the JW's are not "in to" what they are doing & they seem to "make up their own rules" based on what suits them. They just do not "follow the system".

  many jw cool "accessories" as well.

  example....they are selling this exciting lot!.

  No KHalls for Hurricane relief

  eldubs in florida (maybe elsewhere too) have been told that the kingdom halls should not be used for relief efforts or for shelters.

  liability and insurance issues were stated as the reason.. will try and get a copy of this letter.. of course the kingdom halls are supposed to be the center of true worship and a place of comfort but i guess only in fair weather.

  The Kingdom Hall, if it can not be used as a "shelter", SHOULD provide a shelter somewhere else.... rent a building???

  I don't think the your having "long hair" had sanything to do with her being a Witness??? Some women just don't like long hair...... women often want men to cut & change their hair "just because"

  Problem recieving Watchtower & Awake "again"

  i posted earlier in the summer about some "racist" witnesses who told me that i could not recieve the watchtower & awake magazines, or attend the kingdom hall, because i was black & blacks were not able to understand the bible, "it was not for them".. i wrote a letter to the watchtower society & got a response!.

  i moved out of that immediate area, a couple of towns(about 40 minutes away).

  i contacted the watchtower society after moving here to have someone bring me the watchtower & awake.

  This area is a little further north than Stamford, which is pretty much the area I am from, Mamaroneck, N.Y. I am real surprised, and caught off guard, by the racism in this area????

  I was looking at a website called "KlanWatch". They have a map that is supposed to show all the active "Klan" locations. "Waterbury CT." is supposed to be one of them & "IT IS BELIEVABLE".

  I am right here! Was not looking at internet over the weekend.....

  I "DO" want the magazines. I read "some" of the articles, & I look at the pictures & use them. I teach a College course on religious artwork.... Watchtower has some good examples, sometimes.(It's a source of info.)

  I am used to "the Witnesses" placing magazines with "everyone" & solicting for Bible studies. I am from N.Y., my ggrandmother was a Witness for 50 years. I am not used to this "selectively" giving out the magazines, as they seem to do in this area...... real strange people!!!

  I would LOVE to see these people's field service report!!!! What do they put down if they are not even giving people the magazines????
