Random: makes them seem more "persecuted"
Exactly, that's why full frontal "attacks" only bolster the programmed conditioning of JWs.
Apostate image confirmed: hateful and unreasonable anti-Christs.
i'm still undesided but leaning towards going to a few dcs under the cover of a worldly person(i'm really a df'd evil apostate .
i'm a worldy person that is in love with a jw sister who i work with, we have dated and even have been intimate(that outa perk up the ears of any hatchet man elder), and now she refuses to see me any more unless i become a jw, she encouraged me to go to this convention, but is afraid to be seen with me because she doesn't want people in her congregation to know she has a boy friend.
i think that kind of story would grab the interest of many sisters or brother and allow me to ask some hard questions about the organization and even allow me to bring up some things i found on the internet about dates and such and not be viewed as an apostate.

would you agree that most people stay on as witnesses--not because they are "true believers" but because they have no place else to go or they will risk losing their family and friends?
Raises hand in the affirmative

I believe a covert operation is still more effective. Consider this op:
Two persons. Both dressed as JWs badges and all. #1 apostate distributes tracts and checks through out. The mode could be to distribute information by slipping it inot Bibles and seats randomly all around the seating area. This could be done under the guise of "looking for my seat" before the morning session and during the mid-day break. During the session, #1 could be stuffing the restrooms.
#2 apotate is seated near the "watchers". Seating is usually easy to find because they are in the nose-bleed area.
The watchers are teams of two brothers stationed at high points in the seating area and often in the private boxes above the general seating. The watchers are easy to locate because one is always scanning the audience with binoculars while the other observes the general scene and communicates with other watcher teams via two-way radio. They wear "Attendant" badges with a black dot.
#2 monitors the watchers radio communication and tells problems to #1 via cell phone with ear pieces. This gives #1 the chance to exit without direct identification. That also leaves #2 to take over #1's activities.
Don't forget to hum your personal spy theme throughout.

You are the man Frankie, that was the year.
The story I heard was that the "watchers" (surveillance) had identified an apostate in the stands and replaced other JWs with "attendants". He was then escorted out. Of course then version I heard was extolling the power and efficiency of the security.

Frankie YOU ARE MY HERO!
You should know there are urban legends about you at the Cow Palace - you were noticed. What year was this? I could verify.
Please drop in your contribution while you are there: More District Convention ApostaKits
in my opinion, the best way by far to beat the watchtower is to:.
live your life to the fullest.
follow your bliss.
We all have our ways. There are two "Watchtowers" to beat.
Very different prescriptions for each.
so last weekend was my last district convention.
i plan on breaking the news to my wife real soon.
nowadays even at the meetings my blood pressure raises and my back gets all tense as i sit and listen to some of the stuff we are supposed to believe.
In the drama: Young Timothy has a friend and they are both interested in going to Athens to persue a higher education. Timothy's father (a Greek) is shown encouraging Timothy to go to Athens for schooling. Both Timothy and his friend continue to be associated with the congregation but his friend goes to Athens for learning and never enters the ministry like Timothy. Later, an older brother in the congregation entices Timothy's friend with materialism, etc and tries to influence Timothy's friend away from spiritual concerns.
In the Bible: Timothy has a father that was Greek.
Seems to me the WTS has indulged in complete fiction as a vehicle for their agenda: Limit higher education, pioneer, apostacy.
For reference the Insight Book has the bio, no apparent fiction here:
***
it-2 pp. 1105-1106 Timothy ***TIMOTHY
(Tim´o·thy) [One Who Honors God].
Son of a Jewess, Eunice, and a Greek father (not named in the Scriptures). While very young, Timothy was taught "the holy writings" by his mother and probably also by his grandmother Lois. (Ac 16:1; 2Ti 1:5; 3:15) It is not known precisely when Timothy embraced Christianity. However, perhaps late in 49 or early in 50 C.E., when the apostle Paul arrived at Lystra (apparently Timothy’s home) in the course of his second missionary journey, the disciple Timothy (perhaps in his late teens or early twenties) "was well reported on by the brothers in Lystra and Iconium."—Ac 16:2.
It may have been at this time that, as a result of the operation of God’s spirit, certain prophecies or predictions were voiced concerning Timothy. After the holy spirit had in this way indicated the future of Timothy, the older men of the congregation joined the apostle Paul in laying their hands upon Timothy, thereby setting him apart for a particular service in connection with the Christian congregation. (1Ti 1:18; 4:14; 2Ti 1:6; compare Ac 13:3.) Paul chose Timothy as a traveling companion and, to avoid giving Jews an occasion for stumbling, circumcised him.—Ac 16:3.Travels With Paul. With Paul, Timothy shared in Christian activities in Philippi, Thessalonica, and Beroea. (Ac 16:11–17:10) When opposition that was stirred up by fanatical Jews made it necessary for Paul to depart from Beroea, the apostle left Silas and Timothy behind to care for the new group of believers there. (Ac 17:13-15) It appears that Paul thereafter sent word to Beroea, advising Timothy to visit the brothers at Thessalonica, encouraging them to remain faithful despite tribulation. (1Th 3:1-3; see ATHENS [Paul’s Activity in Athens].) Apparently rejoining Paul at Corinth, Timothy brought good news about the faithfulness and love of the Thessalonian Christians. (Ac 18:5; 1Th 3:6) In the letter Paul then sent to the Thessalonians, he included the names of Silvanus (Silas) and Timothy in the salutation, as he also did in his second letter to them.—1Th 1:1; 2Th 1:1.
