def'd...It's all real simple, Noah had to pout the blood out if he killed the animal for food. All mankind has to do the same thing. In deut14 and lev15...the animal was not killed by the human so they didnt have to pour out the blood. They weren't responsible for the life that was "in it". Now....last time I checked, they don't kill people to get donated blood. You are not responsible for that life.....the life is not in the blood. It is still in the person who donated it.

i started my biblical sereach after i was asked by a brother in my book study group why we could use fraction that was taken from coagulated blood, but can not auto-transfuse {store our own blood for later use} becasue the blood coagulates and then must be poured out onto the ground.

you're correct on the matthew isuue being "up in the air" as far as proof.
the truly ugly thing is that we recently had a talk that was about how jesus died. the speaker brought up the medical study that i cited saying that the study proved that jesus' arms could nor have been at 90 degree angles to his body because he could survive indefinately. he (or the society) failed to mention the part about him lasting less than 30 minutes if he was crucified the way the watchtower shows.

if he had his hands extended directly over his head he would have asphyxiated in under 30 minutes. there have been medical studies on this that are quoted on the freeminds web site.
also matthew says that the sign was above his head, not above him or above his hands, a minor point but there nontheless.

how many of us or our families would be alive today if we were born in the "good old days" before 1914?? i know my wife would have died in childbirth with our first child.
before the 20th century if we were to have 6 kids we could only count on 3 or 4 making it to adulthood. just think...nearly everyone would have lost a child to death....truly critical times hard to deal with.

How can I help a friend with shunning?

Suggestions on a Jw uniform!!
by haujobbz ini mean cmon priests wear outfits so do nuns,archbishops,etc etc surely the jws could start there own fashion,i mean all the the sisters could make them in bethel im sure they would be very happy.so i wonder what uniform would suit a jw, "suggestions would be very nice".maybe something like darth vader wears

i used to go to a kingdom hall that was previously a church so this explains a lot!!! how dare the elders buy a deeminized church for our pure worship!!!!!! well as long as they got a good deal on it i guess it's alright.
