  that's right.....pharaoh liked 70 year old women and so did his buddies ( princes).

  gen. chap.12 tells us when abraham entered egypt, the egyptians beheld the woman( sarah ), was "very fair".

  uh.. my grandma is in her late 80s, grandad 92... they still take a "nap" every afternoon where no one is allowed to come visit for that hour.. she told my mom they still go at it 2 times a week...she's a plump happy looking lady and he's a very very happy old man. not just young people like the mattress dance.

  i'd rather hear about men liking older women than a 40 yr old man getting it from a 17 yr old girl.

  if your honest..what makes a woman beautiful to a man? eyes, a smile,someone who makes you feel good, ......ack......who am i kiddin... what is it that the fella said on american wedding when he did grandma? "hey dude.p***y is p****y"

  this society we live in worships youth, if you're man enough to rise above that mind control you get from tv and magazines no telling how you could enrich your life. .

  plus i havent had any in 3 yrs.. some days it seems like i'll be 70 before i get it again lmao

  but when i did several talks dealt with how apostates lie about the wtbs, the apostates make up stuff and attribute the quotes to wtbs.

  apostates all have evil intentions of taking god away from you.

  k i've been here a year.and although i've seen a few things that were far out and kinda grasping at straws to blame the wtbs for the most part 99% of what i've read seem reliable..

  are ya'll lyin to me? trying to take god away from me? you plottin on me?(all said tongue in cheek lol)

  i read many "apostate" books before i left the "truth".

  mentally, i was drifting away for years.

  but i do think that the internet really made it easy to see all the evidence that overwhelmingly showed jws do not have the "truth".....was the 'net instrumental in getting you out?

  nope..i quit going because of the hypocrisy, for being treated like i was invisible, for shutting down because i was just so overwhelmed with what i had to do. i was exhausted from busting my ass.(mid nineties)

  didnt start reading on the internet till about a year ago? maybe not that long ago. what its provided me with is being able to talk to people who relate to what i've been thru and helped aleviate the sense of impending doom and the isolation i felt i was in.

  fall apart ( truth book, pg 89).

  in particular, they proclaimed that the world would be overcome.

  sadly famine is a real problem on earth. not to watchtower gloom and doom scale but way too many people (in the 10s of millions) are suffering

  and how to take the threat of suicide seriously.. i was wondering if anyone whos been in abusive/controlling relationships have had a spouse threaten to kill him/herself to get you to do something their way?.

  my experience: when the ex cheated on me and i was going to leave, and he seen i was serious about leaveing he threatened to kill himself several times .

  getting real upset and turning the situation to where i had to comfort him.

  my experience: when the ex cheated on me and i was going to leave, and he seen i was serious about leaveing he threatened to kill himself several times . getting real upset and turning the situation to where I had to comfort HIM. i told the elders about it and they said he's just trying to manipulate you so that i'd do what he wants ( and it worked) and one elder (which blew my mind) told me to tell him if he's going to kill himself to slit his wrists vertically instead of horizontally. i hated the ex for what he'd done but the thought of him killing himself and it being my fault was killling me..so i stayed.

  we were force fed whatever "mother" told us was best for us.

  we were constantly having ideas "inculcated" into us.

  thankfully, i've spent almost 3 yrs around half way normal people.

  i've discovered "shades of gray" and it really broadens my thought process. i have brain cells perking up that i didnt even know i had!

  hey there girlie !!

  i read this in another thread :i pulled a muscle in my back a couple of days ago and so yesterday the muscle tension/inflammation caused a rib to be pulled out of place!

  how wonderful that feels...*lol*.. .
