  I don't know how to ask this ?

  ok so anyway i have been fading for a little over a year now.

  during that time i have been primarily focusing on improving my social skills: reconnecting with old high school pals, trying to make sense of the world, trying to connect with others, opening myself up to new belief systems, activities.

  now that i am becoming more comfortable around people i am considering pursuing a relationship with someone.

  You sound like a nice 'boy'. I see you have been taking your time, making the slow fade. Continue taking life slow...don't let any little hotties get you into trouble, now! This is coming from AuntieJane, who can't help but worry about her kids. So many young girls I see are out there practically giving it away for free, if ya catch my drift! Guys have to be strong-willed. I see way too many single moms in my community; it makes me sick to think of how those little ones are growing up.

  At any rate, didn't mean to get preachy to ya...But continue being the nice guy you are, and as someone else said, "it is just a date"...don't worry yourself needlessly. AND Keep us Posted!

  Went To A Church Today

  i've been waking up so early on sunday mornings that i finally decided to attend a church today.

  it's lutheran, and a work associate invited me some time ago.

  taking the risk of being uncovered as an apostate (or at least being under suspicion as one) if i'd have been seen entering or leaving the place, off i went anyway for the 8 am service.

  well i am no longer one of jehovah's witnesses.

  i had fully intentioned to disassociate myself from the platform today, but i decided that if i wanted a chance to save my marriage that i'd better tell my wife.

  she immediately went to to one of the elders.

  Matt, I have not followed your posts, just this one. As others have said, this is both. Finished, never look back. That's the final chapter of the old Matt. The next chapter is just beginning. This is all part of the story of life, you are the writer. I can only wish you well, and keep you in my prayers. I don't know if you have children, you mentioned your wife and mother. I pray for them, especially your wife, that she will in her own time, know the real truth.

  with a variety of opinions. I came to have some questions answered and am glad I did...there are many

  others in my situation, with family members who are JWs. I have learned a lot about why they do certain

  on mulpiple web sites about jw quotes the reference is indicated as "ibid", what is the ibid i have never heard or found any jw book with this title.

  it appears that many of the more improtant quotes are referenced to this.

  all help would be appreciated thanks.

  Had study with witness today

  today was probably about our seventh meeting.

  he never got a quarter way through his agenda because of my questions & digressions.

  i kept an open mind on doctrines.

  I would use the KISS method (Keep It Simple, Stupid). Next time I would use his words, "You said that Jehovah has blessed your organization", is that correct? If that is true, what kind of blessing did he give when your organization hurt all these people:

  then show the dates of flip flops on the organ transplants, blood issue, Malawai.

  Get to his heart and tell him that families were hurt beyond belief because of this "blessing".

  Just my thoughts...I do wish you well, keep it up!

  "christians" in their writings and not the proverbial "christendom".

  Thanks to replies.

  I did realize the word is not just a JW idiom, but that it includes all of Christians. The JWs, however, used it negatively to refer to the rest of the world who follow Christ but are not JWs. The WTS did not call themselves a Christian organization because it would include them in Christendom. So it was another way to set them apart.

  HOWEVER, now they do call themselves a Christian organization, which makes them a part of the Christendom they preached against all those years. Isn't this another Flip Flop?

  I'm not really good at putting this in writing, hope you understand my thinking on this.
