from what i can see, it's nearly impossible to reason with a witness, even if you might consider them somewhat intelligent.

Explain carnivorous dinosaurs, and why the Bible says that Adam & Eve
were in a paradise, when these dinosaurs were around the same time as men!

Tripple A: thanks, but I print out stuff from internet & old WT quoted
even if it's from the WT library 2003.
But, after reading & trying to let her read it - I have to destroy it
for the love that someone does not inadvertantly find it.
Once I was listening to a MP3 CD with testimonials & other EX-jw's that turned
into born agains, and she yelled until I stopped the CD. I told her I had no other time
to listen to this except in my Auto, but to no avail!

I cannot reason with my wife. She does not even want me to show her proven issues.
She says, "keep that away from me". I can't risk a divorce & break-up!
Luckily, she has not told anyone my issues including the elders.

Also on the point of children, the Bible says to stone to death disobedient children, who
(including JW's) would do that today?

Yeah, great point. I have two children and anytime they get sick I try everything to fix them
If someone would promise 4 more if I neglect these two. I would send them to hell!

I do not believe it is!
I see too many contradictions.
The latest one I found was in Exodus ch 14.: After the plagues on Egypt, and the firstborn dying Pharoah called Moses & Aaron & told them to leave, serve Jehovah, & bless them. Well the israelites asked for gold & silver on top. But on Ch 14 after leaving being close to crossing the sea, Jehovah told Moses to go back to some "xyxyxy" city and do this for one purpose ony. what purpose? Just to Jehovah could make Pharoah heart burn & pharoah would then come to annialate the Isrealites & then Jehovah would glorify himself by killing the Egyptians.
First, why would a just God destroy pharoah by purposely doing it? (like instigating it?) This contradict the Bible that says the God is just, loving, blah blah blah
God would be wicked to change the heart of someone just to glorify himself!

We need solid advice from former Elders

almost unbelievably after 4 years of staying away from the hall and the jws last week they called and said there were allegations of apostasy against us.

we have been very quiet about our feelings and so were very surprised and angered.

we were told that they were going to discuss the allegation and determine if we would be formally accused of apostasy.
