  well hello everyone.. after some thought, i realized that i've created a middle world for myself, that is neither jw, nor included in the other 99% of the population.

  in fact, living here in jwn is like a cong sometimes.

  the rumours, the gossip, the clicks, it's all here, if that's what u want.. what's happened to me is that i'm almost in a jw state of mind with the small group mentality.

  yesterday @ congregation part 2

  it was an inspirational evening at the meeting yesterday evening.

  there was a nice comments @ congregational bible study (former bookstudy) about listening and obying the slave.

  "if we are told to go left, we are going left, if we are told to go right, we are going right".. the comment was welcomed by the book study elder of course.

  still remember vividly the truth (troof) book illustration of the generation length! lol!

  still remember reading (and studying) the revelation book for the 3rd or 4th time and still not understanding it!

  I did have a "wakening" moment during the revelation book study though............ seems like every damn revelation prophecy (except 1 as my memory serves right) had a fullfillment in the past, present, and future. (I was like these self glorifying bastards are off their rockers).

  anyway, people are more worried about outward appearance and rank than they are about truth!

  I watched "Game Change" I`m curious about americans take on this movie,and their attitude to Sarah Palin

  i`m an australian and i am interested in world affairs,though i`m certainly no expert.previous to watching this movie , i have some information about sarah palin via media,and i know that can be biased , so what i am asking of you, the americans on this board what is your veiw of her ?

  was this movie a true reflection of sarah palin ?

  and if you can give me an alternative veiw of her please do so.. smiddy.

  i personally was appalled had how they went after her family.

  locally here, they were jeering her child (not bristol) and she has to leave a baseball game.

  if i were in her shoes, i would spit fire (just like i've done with elders)

  hello all at jwn!

  i have been a lurker here the last few months and have been going through the process of researching both sides of the story of jehovahs witnesses.

  i was raised in the borg, got married and now have a young child.. my wife is very much dedicated to the organization and will justify anything the "slave" does putting it off on the borgs imperfection.

  hello, another witless here playing the game.......... welcom!

  anyway, I'm lucky in the sense that my wife is not hardcore, and also that I have many experiences here to guide me before doing anything erratic!

  my mind is free, but my body is not............ I play their game so I won't loose my family.

  the problem I see with you is that you have told your wife the doubts and she rejected them, please wait a while and then just start attending less meeting................... maybe do service in laundromats so you don't have to lie to householders.

  It might be a slow process, but try taking your time.

  earlier today I read an experience on this forum, where divorce got nasty and the Witless wife tried all kinds of stunts in front of the judge

  the elders (and your FIL) will do all to keep you away from your kid (they treat you worse than satans spawn!)

  i have collected and assembled hundreds of letters, documents, publications, personal communications, e-mails from the branch etc.

  etc.. my original intent was to make some type of searchable database but my time has been taken over by more important things in life for me.

  i don't care about the jw's all that much anymore and who or what gets what information i don't really care.
