What first gave you doubts ?
by rick1199 inwe all know the big problems with the wts, but what was the first thing that made you realise there were problems with the organisation ?
with me it was realitivly small stuff like an 8 year old getting baptised and a comment my best mates made about another of our friends asking if we should be hanging round with her as she might be bad assciation (she had just been reproved, but they had been mates 20 years).. .
how ever the first time i ever thought something was really wrong was when i was about 11 and my grand farther died, and mu mum wouldn't go to the funeral, i remeber thinking that surely it was better to say good bye properly than worry about if the service was in a church.. .

Also, we can't wear beards.......... Where does that come from?
I have many non-witness business aquaintances, and the beard is perfectly fine. Some are even salesmen!!!

That when Hurrican Floyd hit my family with disaster in the late 90's, the brothers knew the next day... Did they help?
No!!!!!!!
My mother had to go live with my sister that is not a witness, and thank Jesus.... I had to live for 2 months with other relatives....
1 month after I could not go to meetings due to this shattering disaster, the brothers called me to know why??? " you are not coming to meetings ? "
Lucky for them, I went after that...
Their articles on their helping is just propaganda to "encourage" with extreme exaggerations
Just so you know "active J.W.'s" I am still a ministerial servant, and in good standing. But Jehovah or God knows the truth, and he will judge all these liars!!!
I do not want to become an elder, because I would be sharing in this big sin of theirs. The bible says that these people will be accountable -

I love seeing the truth about the "truth". But don;t want the loving arrangement of being DF'd.
I report the ever exaggerated number of 11 to 14 hours. This month I have not gone in service due to my wife's health. So we will proudly put down 1 hour!!!

by Swan indid anyone else see the sopranos sunday night?
did anyone else notice the creepy similarities between them and the jws?
they even mentioned the witness protection program, which reminded me of the old joke we have.. the mob is such a metaphor for high control groups like the jws.
