  Why the children???

  why is it that the wts seems to pick on children from such an early age?

  i was reading some personal stories in the best of forum, and so many have gone through rough times as a child in the jw.

  i personally remember times where i was ashamed, embarrassed, and upset about being a jw as a child.

  just a little background without mentioning names (this guys son is now a boxer, rated #15th in the world in the 140# class, and seen on shobox 3 months ago).

  well he's had a bumpy ride, including divorce, and children from 1st marriage not talking to him anymore.

  well i have not seen him in 1 year, but have seen his 2 sons at my.

  Well he's had a bumpy ride, including divorce, and children from 1st marriage not talking to him anymore. Well I have not seen him in 1 year, but have seen his 2 sons at my

  District Assembly 1 month ago (1 is a boxer). But they have announced in my hall in which is 60 miles from his that due to loose conduct he has dissassociated himself.

  Mentioned him by name, then at the local needs talk the same night explained the implications of dissassociating yourself!

  Is this normal, I have never seen this before!

  If there was a way for me to say " I wish you the best"............ I would!

  i'm not cheap, i'm not trying to scam ray's estate out of $15, i just want to download the book to my palm so i can read it when i get a chance.

  i'd grab it from the library, but it's not the sort of coffee-table book i need lying around the house at this point in my life!.

  they could store tons of information on each witness, instead of writting it down on a piece of paper.

  JW Spouse problems

  i am not a jw, my spouse is getting way into it -- 4 times a week.

  i am not sure what she is doing - and i am not interested in jw -- it is not for me or my children.

  a sister was coming to my home -- without my consent and giving a "study" to my children.

  When JW's go to convert you they do not do it out of their heart. The mere fact that they have found and

  converted someone will give them "glory". What "glory"? They can now brag about it, rasing status, and

  also giving opportunity to go onstage at district and circiuit conventions and showing how they faught all

  odds to save someone against "the wolf/husband". You are now part of that stage, and when they get heir way

  she will be invited as such to show along with her study conductor how evil you were!

  Read all these posts, read good info like web sites www.freeminds.org and others like it. Read how past history of

  JW's has been changed in our "history book proclaimers.....". Read the old "light" which has been replaced by new light.

  Example: Before the 80's you could not have transplants, in the pre-war time we were not allowed to get vaccines, and how

  many published stuff is just mere nonsense (aluminum, reflexology, natural cures, etc)

  These publications (awake and WT) re not even worth the paper it's printed on.

  I also think that as HOH you can limit how much money she conributes, since all these books she is

  getting are given to her on the "contribution basis"

  i am married to a jw wife, ( a good woman to !

  ) i have 2 young teenage girls, and we all go to most meetings all the time, i've known about the wts lies for a few years now, and i haven't gone to fs for about 3 years, i give a modest report to shutup the elders.

  i'd vote for revelation since every nutcase who ever came down the pike has tackled it verse for verse and applied it to the time in which he was living.

  ever notice that?

  no matter what decade or century, people reading the bible always think that it applies to their time.
