  I need the full page illustration of possible impalement

  in the large jw reference bible (page 1578) is a drawing of a man dying on an upright pole.

  in penton's book, apocalypse delayed, there is a reference on page 342 to that illustration, mentioning it is only one of 16 drawings, 13 of which show a cross beam.

  (another deceitful attempt by jw's).

  Distractions at the Convention

  i read the post where some kid let go of a helium balloon at a convention, and everyone was watching it.

  when i used to attend the conventions, i loved distractions.

  i always heard multiple "pssst" sounds from people opening cans of cott cola.

  I heard 2 months ago in Nassau Coliseum, Long Island that a child died falling from the upper tier during the convention!

  i've heard that bethellites there for many years get higher pay, anybody can confirm this?

  (i've heard close to $300/month).

  also, if they are to be a spiritual example to all.... then why do bethellites work saturdays.

  We used to have District conventions held at the Belmont Race Track in New York

  I was there, unfortunately for others... mine was inside the air conditioned area where people eat!

  That was one good one! Was even in the drama that year! and thus got away from listening to most of

  the talks that morning!

  fg, a member on the german boad read a private report of the most recent gilead graduation.

  the report says that the jw in brooklyn are a bit disturbed about recent cases of death which included some younger members of the bethel family.

  can anybody confirm this?

  the internet has only been around for 10 years, yet it has profoundly changed the way we live, work and entertain ourselves.

  particularly for children, they have readily adapted to this technology so much so, that teachers and educators are finding that their traditional based curriculums are leaving kids bored.

  these are the kids who are used to surfing, instant messenging and downloading digital music.
