Free Literature at the Kingdom Hall
by frankiespeakin ini was thinking for all you guys who go the kingdom hall even though you know it's not the truth,, in order to keep from loosing all your friends and family,, why not take advantage of the wt free literature at your kh?
i mean the wt is forcing you to go to meetings with the threat of being outcasted from your family why not put a little dent in their finances but getting all the free literature you can and not contibuting anything for it.
after all the wt is offering it free of charge.

heard them remind people of the usggested value of literature and we would want ot be honest and remit
I've seen this happen, but as "information" from the grapevine. None has been said publicly.
As accountign servant, I've seen a couple of overzealous brothers shout at people rude remarks when putting money in. But I have not
shared in such stupidity and have not been told to do so from elders. Maybe in "overzealous" places bros are diffrent!

Depression & Jehovah's Witnesses
by minimus inis it me or does it seem that nearly all jws go through depression in varying ways??
i'm not talking about what the average person could deal with because of a loss of a loved one or a job termination, etc.
i'm referring to being depressed because you're a jehovah's witness.

I've been doing this, for 3 years!If Jehovah was spreading his holy spirit in the congo, I would have been struck down!
Also, as money servant..... if Jehovah's people are the most honest people...... why do I need a 2nd brother accompanying
me to collect money? Would not honesty make me count the money correctly? thus not stealing also?
We are not Jehovah's people! Nor do we have his holy spirit! and we are not the most honest people on earth as they brainwash us to be

members won't be presenting this mag..........it's a touchy subject, not to mention the advice in the awake isn't any different than advice from dr. phil, oprah, etc... etc........... one interesting obversation- at the end of the article it doens't say to just "wait on god's kingdom".........this is how the very last paragraph goes.......... "where there's a will, there's a way.
do you have the motivation to do something about it?

Boy, I met this guy from alabama (pro Bush guy) that after telling me how good he was, said
"by the way what religion are you, and how's your relationship with JEsus", I said "I learned years ago not to talk about religion at work", and luckily he backed out, but had to kick in "I think it's my christian duty to talk about Jesus"!
Another guy from Georgia, after talking about how sucky his daughter school system was said "those damn democrats are screwing everything up!", I said "well Bush has been pres, and will be pres for 4 more years, so what are you talking about?". He said "I'm trying to use correct terminology here, never know who's listening". After looking at him, and trying to figure things out, I said "you know I'm from the north, I don;t lnow what you're talking about?". He said in a wisper "Nig---s". Never heard the term democrat before used this way? Some of these guys are discriminating bastards, but call themselves Christians!

Well the couple started tearing down all the wall paper they could that nite,, in hopes that the demon no more will cause problems in their marriage,,,but they made so much noise they woke up the landlord who lived 2 floors below. The next morning the land lord made a visit and was shoched to see his walls all scraped of wall paper and promply had them evicted.
Don't buy Ebay, or go to garage sales!
