Read Exodus:
God purposely made the heart of pharoh "hard" and made the Isrealites take a long route to enfuriate the pharoah.
God instigated this whole thing in order to destroy Pharoah in the REd Sea!!
has anyone considered the similarity in the "tests" that abraham and solomon were involved with in the bible?
abraham was "tested" by god to see if he would sacrifice (that is kill!
) his son if told to do so.. jehovah, who could read what was in hearts and so really did not need the test in the first place, let abraham make the preparations to kill his son to see if abraham would really do it.

about 10 years ago the paterson, nj are kingdom hall elders saw the opportunity to buy a nice piece.
of property to make a superhall.
the building to the shock of the people with open eyes was a masonic temple.. they bought it, and made some kingdom hall inside.
Excuse me for countinuing this thread, but.........
Is there not millions of experiences done at conventions where a JW (after studying the Bible) got rid their crosses and (pagan) idols. Did they not encourage us to not only throw away, but to destroy so it cannot be used for pagan worship again?
By selling this hall to Christendom, are they not helping Pagan worship?
Why not destroy it like we are supposed to do with other objects? (better destroyed than to be re-used)?????
I know for a fact that the internal Egyptian idols were there for a couple of years. I've been going there for quite a few years

as you all may know, the elders around america have had (or will have) their annual meetings.
you know, the ones where they are trained and brought up to date about the whole scheme of things.. anyway, an elder who i happen to be close to was telling me yesterday that some troubling/disturbing things has been going down in congregations worldwide.
he also mentioned that it will be mentioned in watchtowers and km's in the next few months.. anyone know what he may be talking about?
Elders and MS's in these are not supposed to share information until it is published for the public. We are not even to talk to others in the same position "before their school"!!!

of property to make a superhall. The building to the shock of the people with open eyes was a Masonic temple.
They bought it, and made some Kingdom hall inside. The other day as I was passing by I saw the Kingdom hall
sign changed to some other "church of JEsus.... whatever". I was in shock!!!
As, I passed by I had to not only do a double take, but I went around the block and had to look again (Paterson, NJ by the way is urban and almost like Newark). after I saw this twice, I had to call a sister that I knew in that hall. What did she say?
"well, even though we were using the halls, the upstairs was full of pagan stuff. The society told us that if we would not finish the other floors we should sell".... and so they did............ But we were mislead by the real estate agent, and were told that other type of business would buy"
My questions are:
1) Is not Masonic temple evil to JEhobar?
2) with all the voulenteer power they have, could they not "clean it up" in the 10 years of ownership?
3) If Jehobar allowed them to share worship with "pagan stuff" for all these years, then why and who set the limit of time?
4) is it not more of a shame to show how Jehobar is letting other "pagan religion" now take over, when they are supposedly "the most growing" relogion on earth?
5) of all the recruits in this urban area, there are those who cannot afford a Automobile, how Will Jehobar bring them to these Suburban halls?
hey all!
i came upon this board as i was trying to find some social doctrine answers regarding jehovah's witnesses.
i've been looking over this board and feel i've found a new home.
Some young JW's will tease with a non believer to get them into the religion. They also figure that if you're willing to go to the extents of the changes and studying...etc.... then you're a good catch
we must congratulate them for their business genious, their marketing methods and the subtle way they teach these to their followers who think that they are been taught religion rather than marketing.
for their ability to present many pairs of contradictory ideas without their followers objecting to this.
for their ability to make their followers accept with admiration totally silly ideas .
Their money/wealth WILL dwindle!!!!
has this 2005 federal court decision been previously posted?
jehovah's witnesses lose facial challenge to puerto rico controlled access law .
in an opinion that has recently become available, the federal district court in puerto rico last month rejected a facial constitutional attack by jehovah's witnesses to the commonwealth's controlled access law.
cocky bastards....
"we are no part of the world", yet they use all the muster they can to change the "laws of this world"
