The continuing saga of being in love with a Witness
by starcrossedpimp ini don't know how many read my prior post "problems with jw girlfriend and her family", but i feel the need to continue the story as it is very current and is taking quite a toll on both of us.
she and i also work together at a grocery store, so even if she does/did decide to break things off (because of her parents and the religion) we would still see each other (i'll get to this in a minute).
we both know that we still love each other and that we deserve to be together, but can this religion be stronger than true love?????

You don't sound like much of a pimp to me... who's the boss in this relationship anyway? You talk about her mom running the show who exactly is running YOUR show? Be a man go knock on the door and say "thats my GF and if you touch her again the cops won't get here fast enough to save your a$$" Then if they give you any $hit YOU call the cops standing right there on their door step! Then the cops will take YOUR side they are ABUSING their daughter!
She would respect you a lot more for standing up for her!
Here's my take on it when you see her at work say this is how it is stay here with me and leave this bull$hit religion or go with them and were over...
And bit*h slap her mom even from here she's pissing me off!

Are you having sex with her? Maybe is she manages to get herself df'ed her parents would kick her out and she could move in with you! Problem solved!
The only reason I would play along is if she said she does not believe this is true but is doing what she need to do to remain under her parents roof... If she belives this is the truth you should move on...

I like bearshare it does fill your computer with spyware when you install it but after you clean all that crap out it works well!

How did 1975 affect you?
by AK - Jeff ini lived thru the 1975 fiasco.
many here did too.. on another board there was discussion about the way the congregations were before 1975. some thought that they were like small country churches in some ways.
we did our own work on repairs at the kingdom hall, like a family.

I don't know, I had a young friend who was a ministerial servent and liked a "worldly girl" she studied and was babtised they got married about 10 min later and haven't been near a kh since... a REAL SUCCESS STORY! LOL

Exactly! It reinforces their belief! It makes them LESS likely to question they say "see all apostates are insane a$$holes" (they may not say the A$$holes part out loud but they sure do think it!)
