  How about closing it for me? How about the fact that when RF was one of the GB he screwed up many of people's life? How many marriages did he screw up? My loved-ones are still in there. How can this ever be a "closed chapter"? It sounds like you people are pronouncing him dead. I say that if he knows anything he has to come forward. If he doesn't he's a liar just like the WT.. What about the 10000 bucks? He slaved. So did I. 30 years I worked for them while I also paid them. Talk about an indoctrination system.

  we were back in ky to visit my grandparents and we had to drive by my old hall while driving to a friend's house.

  everyone's cars were parked neatly in a row outside (about 10 or 13 cars, it was always a small cong.).

  each table is identified by the kind of symbolic food placed upon it, and all of us are eating at one or the other.

  The UN Affiliation: Likely Denouement?

  ive found the un affiliation threads very interesting, but ive also expressed the view that this issue will have virtually no effect on jw membership.

  i have at least two reasons for believing this.. first, after reading w. j. schnells 1957 book, thirty years a watchtower slave, in which the author describes how the watchtower used negative publicity to increase membership, im now of the opinion that continued commentary on this matter may only serve to foster an even greater conviction on the part of rank and file jws that they are being persecuted, and they will increase their efforts to recruit members; this will offset what i think will be a miniscule number of defections by those who will feel betrayed because of the un affiliation.

  the reason why i think there will be few defections is described below.. second, i believe that the watchtower can easily defend itself.

  This is a very weak defense! Weak JW's will fall for it. Has it not always been so that the GB preys on the weak-ones? We have to expose the WT for what they are!

  They committed adultery with the Scarlet-Colored Wild Beast. There is enough evidence of this. What will it take for the brothers and sisters to see this fact? A lot. Because the Indoctrination-Machine is running full time. They don't give you time to think.
  It's up to us to show the world that the WT is a very dangerous religion. It's very fundamentalistic, as the Taliban was.
  So it will go with al treacherous religions.
