I was home the other night, minding my own business, when the phone rang. The number was blocked on my caller id, but I answered anyways. Lo and Behold! It was one of the elders from the jc that dfed me. Apparently he called (guess they're going down the list) b/c he is contacting df'ed people seeing if they'd like to meet up with elders. I said no and thanks for calling. Afterward, I started to get angy and wished I had said so many things! Like, how come the elders never just called when my life as a jw was falling apart? When it was obvious something was really wrong with me? And why didn't my husband recieve the courtesy call? He was disfellowshipped shortly before by the same commitee? How come no one called when I stormed out of the jc in tears? Just some things on my mind that I wanted to vent.
On a side note, I have ran into more witnesses since that phone call then I have in all the time I was disfellowshipped prior to that call!

Good to be back!

i went away for the weekend of oct. 24. when i came back, my computer was all messed up and the automatic logon for this site had been screwed up.
i couldn't log in.

Okay, so did anyone else have this problem? I went away for the weekend of Oct. 24. When I came back, my computer was all messed up and the automatic logon for this site had been screwed up. I couldn't log in. Then, I found out I had accidentally erased the email with my password. So, I requested that my password be emailed to me. HA! What a joke. I got an error message. I tried everyday (several times) until today, and it finally worked!! I am so glad to be back.

QUIRKS; what are yours?

but, we all know people who are....really...really quirky.. in school you can call them nerds.
in society we can avoid them, make fun of them and laugh.. but, each of us have certain quirks.

I, too, have the cabinet door problem. I cannot stand it when thery are open. My biggest quirk is that when I eat, I have to alternate which side of my mouth I chew on. I always have to start chewing on the right side. The next bite is chewed on the left. And it has to be even. I always have to make sure my final bite is on the left side. When I eat cookies or crackers, I always pick them out in even numbers. I usually grab an odd number, and give the extras to my husband, as he invariably asks for some! Guess I'm more quirky than I thought!

Name Silly Reasons JWs Get Disfellowshipped
by minimus ini know an argument can be made that any reason is unjustifiable but i'm thinking more of the dumbest reasons.
for example, if 2 "witnesses" saw you buy a lottery ticket, you could be df'd for "greediness"......any others??

Did you read the book "1984" of Georges Orwell?
by Nicolas inthis book is one of the best book i've ever read.
it describe well the technics that the watchtower use to manipulate their jehovah's witness.

Congrats! I have three. I have a ladybug on a leaf on my breast-first one. I have a large star on my left wrist. I am in the process of getting my entire back done. It's of a geisha standing in the ocean. There are waves and wind blowing around her with butterflies around her. Eventually under the water will be fish and coral and such. The lower back and the spine are by far the worse. I have had about 12 hours done so far on my back and there were points were I was literally sobbing. You really have to breath through it!
