  Billy Ray Cirus is a no talent piece of $hite and nothing more than a pimp sacrificing his young daughter to gain money for himself. By doing this, his daughter......under the guise of being a "role model"??? for young girls.....is nothing more than a whore.

  Billy Ray will have money...........Miley will have money............. but see if I am right or wrong.........there will be an estrangement between father and daughter just like so many other so-called child stars whose parents forgot about love and saw only dollar signs. . What should be parental and child love......will be financial bickering and worse.

  "any tobacco use while in uniform should be prohibited," what a bunch of bull crap, can you imagine being on the beaches of normandy in world war 2 with bullets flying and your hunched down in a bloodied caldron trying to stay alive, and you pull out a smoke, and your sergeant says to you: better not private!

  I know and admit that smoking is bad. But WTF?

  When I first heard about this I was pissed to say the least. Those men and women who are putting their life on the line for our freedom are under enough stress. If they want to smoke......they should be able to smoke. What are they supposed to do when a roadside bomb goes off? Get in the lotus position and chant? PURE BS.

  In more peaceful areas, they should still be allowed to smoke in whatever designated areas are available.....even when in uniform

  When I was in the Army 1966-1968 we always took smoke breaks. It was a given! Then we "field stripped" the butt. There was no smoking at night while any platoon was doing a "Charlie" patrol though. In that pure blackness, a flicker of light could be seen for a long way.

  I wonder who the asshole is who came up with this idea?

  My Assignment For Ray Franz

  today i met the widow of ed dunlap, who was of the watchtower writing committee and a great thinker.

  he found that the watchtower was not in harmony with the scriptures, so they disfellowshipped him.

  when ray franz was disfellowshipped, it was ed who took him in and gave ray a job and a place to stay.

  Pennsylvania Camping....

  i am looking at keystone state park.

  three of four days in a tent with three very high energy grandchildren.. suggestions?.

  Keystone park is only about an hour from me and it is pretty nice. Not too many side attraction except the drag strip nearby.

  I used to camp a lot at Shawnee State Park in Somerset county. The lake is beautiful and you can drive to Bedford in about 20 minutes. You could see the historic Bedford Springs Hotel and Resort if you go there.....

  Dreaming of retiring in Florida?

  reconsider!

  here is the low down on maintenance and costs.. first of all with a brand new air system by trane (2 years) our bill is still 400 a month for cooling a 1650 square foot house.

  electricity down here is very, very expensive.. mold and mildew during the summer months will take over a pool, deck, or the side of your house with in days.

  My daughter has been in southwest Florida for 8 years now and would never think about coming back north to Pennsylvania. She absolutely loves it and is always after me to move there now that I'm retired. I've visited enough to know that I could never live there in the summer and be a prisoner of a dwelling just for the sake of air conditioning. Not to mention the traffic!

  Been here since 2004. It sure is nice to see some of the old timers from my sign on and before, answering this topic. At least we know they still lurk monitor the forum to see what is going on in the borg. Almost everyone has contributed something positive for the rest of us.

  Theocratic Lurker spies

  i have read a few threads that speak of lurking spies for the jw that watch this website.

  is this true?

  i really don't have a problem with that, but to me it appears entirely sacreligious from what they preach.

  I actually agree with Reniaa.

  There most likely are active JW's perusing this site. Over the years, hundreds have registered and there are probably thousands who are not registered reading what they can.
