i took up cycing a couple of months ago just to get fitter and lose a bit of excess weight.. i bought a second-hand hybrid bike (weighs only slightly less than a truck) and fitted road tyres.
four or five times a week i will go for a ride after work for an hour or so.
i am fortunate enough to live in rural north england surrounded by limitless quiet roads.

They are disgusting! They are two big butt idiots. But the WTBTS are even bigger idiots with more than "double" standards.

i just walked back from getting my mail and happen to walk right by an automobile that belongs to the jw's who live in the end of my building.
the sticker in the low left of the windshield caught my attention so i stopped to read it.
it was a sticker that said......advanced medical directive.....no blood!
Ok! I just had a real good look at that decal again. On the bottom it says.....Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Blood Conservation Project. After looking it up on the web, Phoebe putney hospital is in Albany, Georgia and we are in SW Florida. One article was about the blood conservation project.....not for religious reasons, but because there was a shortage of blood for elective surgery. Reading between the lines, you could see that they are concerned about using too much blood when it might not be necessary. NOTHING about religious reasons that I could see!
There is a phone number with our area code 239. Upon further searching I found that there is a large insurance company owned by a SW Floridian with offices around this area. It gives the owners name and mentions that he is heading the Phoebe Putney BCP in this area. Again I could see nothing about religious reasons.
I'm thinking that the wife who uses this car is afraid to actually admit that she is a JW who doesn't want blood for religious reasons. Looks like she is using a legitimate hospitals concern for low blood supplies and using it to her own reasons. However, the way the decal is printed screams JW style of printing. You know how most WT printed items stand out on their own in a crowd of other printed material?
Now I need to take a peek at the husband's vehicle to see if the same decal is on his windshied.

If I get the chance without being found out, I will try to get a picture of it and post it here. They might know someone who can make decals since that is what it most probably is.

In the center was the circle and the line that crossed out a drawing of a blood unit. I didn't read the rest but I'm thinking it said "In Case of Accedent".
Has anyone ever seen these before and is the WTBS giving them to the sheeples?
These people are strange to say the least.....not hardly saying anything to anyone in this complex. But every few weeks they have their FS group gather in the community center on Saturday morning before they go door knocking.
So happy I am out!

There is also a Spanish convention at Germain Arena in Fort Myers this coming weekend. I know because my coworker who is a JW and doesn't know I used to be one is attending.

its been a long time since i have been this enraged at the evilness and shameless exploitation by the jws.
i just got back from the meeting (dont ask) and sat through the km article laying out plans to mass convert nursing homes all over the world.
i am not going to labor the obvious ethical travesty of this plan but i will say that it constitutes a major public health risk.
Please be more forthcoming about what you heard. You don't explain anything about what this mass converting is about. How can anyone do anything as you suggest if none of us has a clue to what you are referring to?

Huh?
i am not much of a reader as i have two many distractions, but i fancy a challenging read, so please list any book that has changed your entire world view on everything.
i remember as a teenager buying at a yard sale, norman vincent peales " the power of positive thinking" and at the time that had a big impact on me.
but i am a little bit more in to " realistic positive thinking" now..
I'm an avid reader but I must say reading Crisis of Conscience at the time my mind was swirling with doubts is the one book that most influenced me.
