  What Are You Paying For Gas Prices In Your Area Now?

  the lowest i've seen in a few weeks in my area is $2.85 unleaded, self serve.. i've seen it 30 cents higher and a popular mobil station just off the highway..

  $2.99 in Pittsburgh. Last week I spent Thanksgiving with my daughter in southwest Florida near Naples and it was cheaper there. Only $2.89 gal.

  2 wt zombies came to my door today.

  and i opened a can of woop a$$ on them.. i did the whole history of wt false prophecies on them and asked them to show me the gospel of 1914?

  they couldn't and i followed them up and down the street proclaiming they were false teachers and couldn't talk their way out of a paper bag with a knowledgeable apostate.

  Find your old Assembly Hall...

  i was doing some investigation on google maps for a trip i'm making to pittsburgh, pa next week.. come to find out the the place i'm going is only a few mile from the assembly hall i spent allot of time at as a kid.

  looking at this pictures bring back allot of memories.

  some good, some bad.. anybody else attend this assembly hall in coraopolis, pa?.

  Hey Hecklerboy,

  Nice to see you here. It's been a long time! I live 35 minutes away from the Pittsburgh assembly hall. Lot's of good places to eat in the area and I wouldn't mind a meetup, but I work Monday through Friday. If you want to send me a PM as to when you will be there, maybe we can work something out. That is if you don't mind being seen with a senior citizen! lol

  My husband's first exposure to being shunned by family ......

  friday we were in the grocery store shopping .both of us were in a very good mood because our son was coming home for a visit ,and we were planning on some fun activities .

  then around the end of the aisle comes by husbands sister in law ( she is married to his step brother that is an elder) we nearly bump into her literally we are that close ...so i say ," oh hi ***** !

  " she would not even look at us and the expression on her face gave me chills ..pure contempt .

  It's a shame that thing like this have to happen. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones with no direct family still in! In the past ten years, I've only run into two JW's that I used to be associated with and they were very nice even though I don't bother with the "truf" any more. I'm sure that they don't know that I am a complete apostate. lol

  I have one JW brother-in-law who lives in North Carolina that was always friendly with me in spite of my fade, but for about 5 years now he doesn't even acknowledge me. I kind of miss him and his family. He had a heart attack two months ago and I sent him a very nice card. Never heard anything from him!

  Oh well.....at least I have my XJW daughter and she loves me to no end! That gives me smiles and happiness. Hence my name..................

  i just found out that i have breast cancer on thursday (see topic http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/medical/190249/1/i-was-in-the-hospital ).

  my sister has breast cancer too.

  she has had it longer than me.

  Bottom line is......they don't want you to be enlightened to anything that makes you think! If you learn to look into yourself and the bad things that happened to you.....you may well discover that you don't have to be a WT zombie anymore. That's what scares them! You just might point the (truthful and well deserved) finger at them as the source of all your problems and anxieties.

  Do you love or hate to cook?

  just a quick poll if you will.... i personally hate to cook.

  it's not that i'm particularly bad at it, i just don't have a whole lot of patience or motivation to do it.

  i suppose it has something to do with my having to live alone?

  I love to cook when I have the time. I can make anything from a hard boiled egg to beef wellington. If you can read.......you can cook anything. That's how I learned and always recieve praise from those who share my gastronomical delights.

  not long ago i had 100 'friends' - or so i thought.

  i certainly had 100 or more people who said they were friends.

  then i left a cult, and found myself with very few friends - those kind in the flesh, in the community.

  Jeff,

  Even though I boast that I have more friends now than I ever did as a JW.....I know that if I dropped dead in my apartment.......no one would know any different. The only person that matters to me and loves me is my daughter who lives 1200 miles away in Florida and calls me every day. If I didn't answer my home phone or cell phone in a day or so........and didn't respond to her emails and Facebook inquiries.........she would make the proper calls to whomever. Even the church I now attend and claim friendship with some of the ones there....... they are superficial. I say that with confidence because when I quit going for a time, the only call I got was weeks later from the pastor wondering what happened to me. I'm ready to give that up also. I've come to realize that I don't need to "belong". If I want to claim belief.....that is between me and the creator I believe in.

  I think that at almost 64 years of age.....I'm finally evolving.

  Please help me publish my book on the JW organisation.

  my book, the end is nigh...again (but this time we really mean it) is now finished and available to read.

  its a tongue in cheek, real life saga about the life of a second generation jehovahs witness that pokes fun at the organisation that to this day continues to completely screw up the lives of many decent people.

  i have uploaded the entire manuscript to a site called slush pile reader.
