his family moved to arizona about 15 or so years ago.
since i left the jw's and he didn't, i never contacted him again.

Out of curiosity, I recently looked up a person (JW) on Facebook who was a very good friend of mine years ago in Western Pennsylvania. His family moved to Arizona about 15 or so years ago. Since I left the JW's and he didn't, I never contacted him again. He and his family were mistreated as much as my family was and we both shared the same complaints about the congregation and the organization as a whole. And we both got pissed off about the same "holier than thou" elders in power positions.
What surprised me is that his Facebook page is viewable by the public and his posts are very political in nature, and slightly "God Fearing" in that some of the posts are re-posts that ask for prayers for this or that. That seems to be quite unusual for an active JW. I don't want to friend request him at this time, but I sure am curious if he has finally woke up.
So.....if my friend who is a transplant to an Arizona suburb from Western Pennsylvania, and happens to be a member of this discussion group, it would be great to hear from him.

BETHELITES - Whatever Became of?
by Black Man ini often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.
while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).
a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.

Having trouble changing my avatar
by Tameria2001 infor the past couple of days, i have been attempting to change my avatar, but can't.
is this part broken, or is there something else i can do to change it?

My wife seems to become more aroused with herself when seeing the My Pillow Guy on TV. Is there possible JC involvement?

Mike Lindell has his faults but My Pillow is the best pillow I have ever used. He has also created more than 1500 jobs in Minnesota and you can't find very many complaints from the employees.
I would put most of the false claim advertising on whatever agency he hired to promote My Pillow.

Is Silent Lambs and Bill Bowen still relevant?

bill bowen was instrumental in exposing a lot of the cover up along with barbara anderson.
i was wondering if silent lambs is still relevant and does it still help abuse victims?.

Bill Bowen was instrumental in exposing a lot of the cover up along with Barbara Anderson. I was wondering if Silent Lambs is still relevant and does it still help abuse victims?
Since that time, so much more has come out about the issue as we can see by the multitude of lawsuits brought against the Watchtower and local Kingdom Halls and specific individuals.
Can anyone bring us up to date regarding this?
