say something philosophical and deep so that we can all benefit from what you're going to say.

That was perfect
i was watching a news program the other day, and they were using the idea that abortion has been a huge reason why crime has gone down.
these are the reasons they said.. 1. crime in large cities started decreasing in the 1990's, roughly about 16-18 years after abortion was made legal.. 2. crime is often done by people between the ages of 16-24.
3. abortion drops the rate and number of unwanted children being born to single mothers, or to people who do not care about them.
This is a great topic.
I saw the program the other night also and I have to say I always had the same idea about abortion that the program talked about.
To counter Forscher, where the ideas in your post backed up with a study or are they just your personal views? Your first point about longer prison terms being a deterent is in my opinon not correct. Look at the death penalty. That is the ultimate sentence and yet studys have shown that the threat of it does not decrease crime.
Your second point does make sence to me, I would not argue that point but think of this. When I was in collage my sociology professor made it quite clear to us that there was a clear link to poverty and crime. The lower the individuals income level the greater the chance they would commit a crime. There was also a link to education. If the government outlawed abortion there is no question in my mind more familys would sink into poverty because they cannot afford to take care of there kids. Therefore you will have more kids living below the poverty level, getting less of an education, and at more risk to turn to crime. So there theory does make sence to me.
I dont think people are going to stop having sex and aparently most people just cant get it through there head that it feels good with a rubber on too. So there is a need for abortion in this country. I am not in favor of abortion, I personally would not want my wife or girlfriend to get one, but I see the need for abortion.
this article from awake!

The DC's I used to attend only had around 5K worth of dubs there at the most. That was shrinking when I left. Less people per DC depending on the area of the country.
