i was a pioneer for 7 years, before that i was a regular auxiliarry pioneer for 3 years, i have been a witness for 17 years.
If you feel your daughter is being mistreated by her boyfriend, could you possibly have her live with you again ??
She may jump at the chance of getting away from him. As for her being DFed.........isnt her saftey more important than what the "loving" Elders will do ?

I have heard of many sad cases where people have been let down by the organization, but this story really must be the strangest and hurtful. You really need to start researching the background and history of the Watchtower society. You may then see how and why this is happening.

well, i couldn't go through with talking to my boyfriend yesterday about all this.
i felt like if i did it would ruin everything (which is pretty telling, i suppose!).
Although hes told you not to go on the internet. I think if you pass on some sites that youve been on and have found informative, then im sure he will look himself. Remember most witnesses NEVER look or read about anything critical about their religion, they are not allowed too.
He will be unaware of the negative things of his relgion but he may have doubts himself, if hes in his mid twenties that a sign.

I hope this makes the family, especially the husband really question and research the blood doctrine. It may be too late for his wife but I hope its not too late for his children, who are going to be brought up with no mother AND in this religion.
i can remember when i was a witless, we would go to a particular diner frequently.
this place closed at 10:00 pm, so obviously they did not like having 40 or 50 of us coming after the circus meeting.
that was what they did, week after week, showing up at precisely 9:50 pm.
I dont know how you can blame the JWs for closing the restaurant. If they were regularly turning up on a Tuesday or Thursday evening, then why didnt the owner have the restaurant stay open later on those evenings. The staff would know that they would be working late and the kitchen would be prepared. If for some reason no one turned up he could then close early.
As for lunch time he could have just refused the large gang entrance.............eating places often have signs "No coach parties" If he allowed his staff to become hostile or rude to his customers then he deserved to close down.

You could read the book Crisis of Conscience written by Ray franz. I ordered this book from Amazon. It really helped me understand whats behind the doctrines of the WT which helped me get "undoctrinated " quicker.
so after the revelation study last night where the paragraph was talking about how russell's interpertation of revelation basically didn't work and got discarded, my wife comments with the same old,"the light gets brigther, that's why i respect fds because at least they will change when they figure out something is wrong.
" (insert vomit here) afterwards, me and the book study conductor(i have to at least give him credit, he is someone i can talk to freely about my questions and he has not,as of yet, turned me in) got into a discussion of what 'the light gets brighter' really means.

The example of a student "helping " the other students is not the same as the F&D. The student doesnt chuck out any of the other students off the course because they dont agree with him or they come up with a different answer..........the right one. If the students keeps comming up with the wrong answer then the teacher would questions himself, if this student was good enough to "help" or should he choose someone else who is a little less aggresive with the others.
