recently my father and i have been arguing over scriptual interpretation getting nowhere so i wrote him this email to see what his reaction would be...check it out!!.

my last meeting was memorable.
it was a saturday morning bookstudy.
i showed up a little late per usual with my coffee.
Amazingly a brother talked about 1975 and how it was all the R and Fs fault. My husband and I just looked at each other, as we had just been investigated that date.
Then a brother said "You either, shape up or ship out" We shipped out, thanks for the advice!!!!!!!

what if we all printed up some flyers advertising ..........seek the truth about the truth.go to jw.com for the answers to questions youv'e had or may have.read articles from the watchtower that the society hopes you will never find.. could we legaly put those on their windshields during a meeting?im sure we could do it at least once,and then if asked to leave comply with their wishes.its a well nown fact that out of 100 or 1000 or 100,000 that some will take the bait and check it out just due to human curiousity.. if we all started using the same informal preaching as them such as dropping flyers at laundry mats and phone booths and grociery stores etc you would think it would catch on.i havent counted all the members of this board and how many countries are represented but it sure looks like a lot to me.. what do you guys and gals think?..............ken

I went to a convention, in the nearby supermarket, they had flyers in the deepfreeze LOL
Adding: I thought the apostates where MAD, but if I had a little bit of paper in my hand with a www. no on it I would have definatly checked it out

I m starting to sound like the secetary of our old hall ! But how many are active and inactive posters??????
this proves the bible and the wtbts wrong.
the scripture says women are the weaker sex - wll as most men will surely admit t this is a load of crap - women are incredibly strong.
they bear children and keep going when they have a headache etc.
Sorry Blondie but the myth about women giving birth then carring on work in the fields does nothing for the ordinary women who give birth and need at least 5 days rest.
Macho men who think having a baby is like shelling peas, then go away leaving you to cope with other children and household chores is no fun
My husband took a week off work and was ridiculed for being a whoose when I had our baby.
I remember crying when he went back to work and left me on my own with her, so sorry I am a whooose too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it must be about 13 years since i went out in service.
about 15 years since i went out a couple times a month, and about 18 years since i went at least once a week.. i just can't imagine going from door to door anymore.
but to think that we all did it for quite awhile.
About 9 months ago I knew it was wrong and felt so embarrist and worried about involving someone in this religion I wouldnt go out again
i remember coming home from a meeting one evening in a spiritually heightened mood and seeing all these lights dancing around in the sky.
strangest thing i ever saw.
i said to my wife ?quick inside?

I was so embarrist when 120 people attented, usually its about 60,
They had gone round scaring every non- active and sitting on the fence person they could find, the hall was buzzing that night. But you could actually hear the groan at the end when all it was, was the no charge for mags.

as i have never been to a church service ( except a wedding which i thought much nicer than our cold and impersonel talks) i wonder if they are as boring and repetitious as our meetings?.
i used to think it was me, that i wasnt spiritual or appreciative enough.
i was so bored.. we would have a talk in the service meeting about how some complain about too many meetings or going over the same stuff, and then promptly say it was our fault!.
As I have never been to a church service ( except a wedding which I thought much nicer than our cold and impersonel talks) I wonder if they are as boring and repetitious as our meetings?
