i was sitting in my car in a parking lot and an old woman came out with a shopping cart with a few items in it.
she was putting them in the back of a pickup truck and it was a little high for her to lift things over the side.
she had a bag of dogfood or something like it and a young woman saw that it would be hard for her to lift it and she ran over and lifted it over for her and pattied her on the back and walked over to her car and left.
There are kind witness but on the whole, if a good deed is done its because they have to SHOW they are for 2 reasons
1. If the person they are helping knows they are a JW, they must give a "good witness"
2If the person is a stranger they have to let them them know they are a JW so it give them "a good witness"
It has nothing to do with helping or loving your neighbour, although when our a Dub you dont understand the difference.

ok its a "my hair is too long" issue again.
i have the choice of attending all meetings until college if i just keep my hair combed and packed down so it looks short.
my dad will pay all the bills i have and i can keep/save all the money i make until college.
I would agree to go to meetings and see how it goes. Once youve started college, they might give up the fight. Believe me as a mother of a son who didnt want to go, in the end it causes so much upset I gave up.
It would be hard for any parent to stop there kids going to college once they are on a course. Oh and the best thing is to be pleasent to them when you start. Dont give them a reason to think it making you a evil worldly person.
Be happy and helpful round the house, tell how grateful you are for them paying for college,

I thought in the USA they had statatory rape, if the girl is under 16 years, if its proved they had sex its mandatory he is charged with rape. Even if she consented
In any case, the whole thing of shunning the disfellowshipped one is the key. They should be able to DFs if they need to, not that I agree with some of the reasons, but its the treatment of them after that is wrong.

today, i was looking for a super soaker on ebay.
my ex girlfriend stole the other one, and i was looking to replace it.
it made me think about the time i was a kid.
We always bought our kids super soakers, some tried to council us we told them to mind their own.
After a few years ALL the kids had one. Its too ridiculous and sometimes you just have to do what you want, its amazing how many other will follow if they see you getting away with it.
The best thing to do is have a water fight, when there are elders present, they cant resist it. Then they cant say how evil it was after. Thats what we did.
