i know from going door to door that people are generally divided as to who god is.
what are your thoughts?

I find this really difficult to decide on, only last year I would have definitly have said , no trinity, but the more I read and listen to other view points its not so clear cut.
I do believe in God so its important, If Jehovah is the only one we must worship and no other, then we cannot except the trinity, but there are scriptures that say we should worship Jesus and if we dont it will displease Jehovah. Im really grappling with this one!

Im a really bad speller , but I get stuck on the words.

He also has brought in legislation to close down a place of worship, if they icite hatred or violence. I feel like sending him a few WTs were they blast the catholics, and say that everyone who isnt a JW deserves to and will die.

One of my teachers in high school was a member. I was under the impression that they didnt really believe it was flat ,but that it was mathmatically possible to prove it was.
i would've called myself moderate leaning toward liberal.

I swore occasionally, never gambled, we hardly ever had a family study but we were all on the school
I never answered the WT but frequently did in the book study.
I tried never to judge ppl but often did !!!
an ex brother and i were talking recently and he recounted a bizarre story.
he too left the witneys some years ago, got a divorce, and the two children (both boys) decided to stay with his wife since she was still a jw.. one of his boys (never baptized a jw) confided in him not long ago about the sleeping arrangements after he left.
she told the boys that she was feeling depressed and lonely because of the divorce and turmoil that their apostate father had caused her and asked them (ages 15 and 16) to each alternate and sleep with her every other night.. it took lots of courage for this son to talk to his father about it since he wanted it off his chest.
I did NOT say because they were "boys" they should get over it, rather that nothing sexual happened !
She didnt sexually abuse them, they might have felt uncomfortable and that was wrong, but it was the father that was angry and I just felt that they may have been relaying a story that happened when HE had left. If they had told him when it had happened, he could of spoken to the mother telling her he thought it was inapropriate, but this was an instance that happened years ago. If they are still that upset they should go and talk to their mother about it.
I am not unsympathetic to anyone whos been abused, and this is my point I dont think they were, but thats my opinion, on a story told fourth hand, as I wasnt there !!!!!!!!
i have read your posts and am suprised, shocked and disgusted at the fact you still are an active witness who goes to the meetings 70% of the time and at the same time go to apostefests and curse and talk bad about the truth.
dont you know that the bible said people like you would quietly slip in the congregation and subvert the faith of some?

i've always been on the thin side, but i've been drinking too much beer lately and notice something happening above my belt.
it's not really noticeable and is easiliy sucked in, but i'm not happy.
My husband can get a beer belly in just 2 weeks if hes drinking too much. When he stopped his belly goes down.
