  Changing..............

  ive been thinking for a few days about changing it, id like to put something up that reflects my posting style, but its really hard to judge yourself so.................if you have some ideas get posting.. i know some of you dont know me much, but i have been here for over a year and will be soon posting my 1000th post.. im a middle aged woman, married with 2 grown up kids if that helps !!!!!!!!!!.

  I think im depressed AGAIN!

  the last few months have been really tough for me there have been many problems with my fiances family and even with my fiance for that fact.

  although things are fine now, im not happy i cant seem to get excited bout life.

  im getting married in nov, going to be trying for baby no 2 going to fiji in feb....so you see i have lots to be excited bout but im just not.

  I suffered from depression for years on and off, maybe i will again, but the last bout was about 10 years ago.
  

  
  
  Dont hesitate, going to the doctor, I always left it far too long. I was so disapointed with myself, its such a silly way of reasoning. If I felt myself going down now, id zoom of to the doctors and get myself sorted straight away.
  

  
  
  If you do it sooner than later it wont take as long to get back to normal. I very rarely take pills, like anadin for a headache, but ive learned over the years not to be so unreasonable with myself, if you need them (prozac) take them even if its only for a month.
  

  
  
  If you needed extra vitamins you wouldnt hesitate would you. !!!!!!!

  Any fellow humanists out there?

  i have been reading a lot here and there the past year about humanism, etc...and i am curious who else on this board that have left jwism has gone that route?.

  it took me a few years, but this is where i am at now, and i have been looking into local groups in my area (dallas, tx) that meet together.

  i will probably be going in september when the next meeting is.

  What do you see when you look in the mirror?

  when i look at myself in the mirror i see a different person than i saw a few years ago.

  also, when i look at photos of myself from a few years back, i don't even know myself.

  not that i look that much different physically -- it has something to do with the eyes.

  Its so strange......our reflections, men stare at themselves when they shave, women do so when they put on their makeup.

  I remember trying to look myself in the eye and to be honest with myself, I just couldnt!!!

  To me its like looking at a person we know well, but cant hold eye contact with, I think its cos i know ive been faking it for years, I feel guilty for my children, I surrended my responsibility to others and sacrificed my childrens and my own life. I am now taking back my life and find it easier ( not easy ) to look full on at myself in the mirror

  Maybe one day ill say "hi, how are you, Ive been meaning to tell you what a nice person you are and how much I like you"
