Why No Knocking ???

I remember leaving mags regularly with a woman, who always accepted them. Then one day her husband opened the door and with the biggest smile said "no thankyou" I replied that his wife generally had the mags off me when I called and he said really sweetly that shes too embarrist to say no and that she doesnt really want them and they go in the the bin!
I felt really sick to my stomach, that I hadnt read this womans true feelings and that she just wanted me to go away.
You have to be firm, and your husband has to do it !

Will the WTBS ever relax the current clothing/dress/grooming standards?
by Utopian Reformist inas numbers and meeting attendance statistics continue to decrease in western lands, do you think the wtbs may someday relax it's current clothing and grooming policies to facilitate better attendance and make the meetings more comfortable?

Disfellowship article, ideas please

they are somewhat influential in the org and i am trying to convince them to push for changes to current disfellowshipping policy, not that i hold out too much hope.

by free2beme ini always thought, when reading the bible, that the commandment "thou shall not kill" made no sense.
after all, the god who supposely gave it commanded his own people to kill.
