  Our religion: American managed! Oil price...

  i'm a witness from west europe.

  many jw's here don't understand the reason of recent congregational change: oil price... the oil price in the united states is still much cheaper than in europe.

  how is it possible that the governing body takes the oil price as one of the reasons to change congregational issues?

  Reason for splitting up watchtower editions

  tonight i did wake up and i knew it!

  the reason for splitting up the watchtower editions in a public and a study version.

  the reason is the same as for splitting up the watchtower society in ccjw, kingdom support, inc, religious order of jw (and local convention planning organisations, read the anderson-files about having no agents everywhere), just juridical!

  New generation change: blaming rank & file again?

  the worst part of the "1995 generation change"- implementation was for me personaly the watchtower study-article defining the new (or changed) doctrine.

  the article mentioned that rank & file witness "thought" that the generation was related to 1914 because they want it so.

  it hurted me deeply and i am still agry (12 years later!)..

  at this moment i do some research about the other face of the jw organisation, with focus on the role of wtg officials.. i'm searching for a picture of protesting jw's in the streets of strassbourg or paris, in the watchtower against france tax case.. the french website of the watchtower published this picture of protesting jw's in front of the strassbourg buildings of the eu.. if you have this picture, please post it in topic!!.

  the dutch branch of the society, has send a letter to all congregations in the netherlands about the dc this summer.

  they stated that the series of dc in 2006 has end in a loss of 75.000 euro.
